Morning all, Slightly later post from me today, but so far today, I have been at my local school to invigilate a prelim exam.
My list for today
Invigilate at the local school for a prelim exam
Do the required uni work
Phone and pay the vet bill
Check and pay cc's - I've now got one of my cc's cleared : )
Attend uni meeting
Attend uni lectures
Look for the letter that is required for the benefits application - Work in progress, as still not found
Spend an hour on volunteer admin
Fill the DW and switch on
Sort through the fruit bowl and use up anything close to the end or bin
HHI
Take DD to the stable so she can feed and check on her pony
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Monday/week.8 -
Swimming bag packed and session booked. Sewing machine has FINALLY found a home in the office - spotted someone on facebook who put theirs on a kallax shelf and it had never occurred to me it would fit there. Theirs was on the bottom shelf but mine is on a higher shelf to save my back. And that's where most of my craft stuff is anyway. Much better than keeping it in 'the-cupboard-under-the-stairs' where I would have to move other stuff in and out to access it.
WUALTD, emptied DW. Need to pack ebay sale and set off early to post en route to swimming.

This morning I have
- checked finances
- eaten breakfast
- S&S'd the kitchen
- PUPA in the LR and DR
- showered and dressed
- given the bathroom a good once-over
- watered the 3 upstairs plants (money plant and fern in the bathroom, evergreen jasmine in my bedroom) plus the 7 amaryllis that have been overwintering on the landing window sill and waiting to be woken up
- stripped my bed and started WMx1
- looked in my sock drawer and thrown out everything except the thick bedsocks which I wear only very occasionally and the thermal tights ditto - none pressed into service so far this winter: they're intended for a power-cut situation rather than everyday
- hoovered all through upstairs
- put the clean undersheet on my bed, with great difficulty - I recently saw a cartoon about fitted sheets always having one corner that won't cooperate, and it's very true, although the one that's currently in the wash doesn't seem to be as bad
- made us a cuppa, which persuaded DH to get out of bed (Rosie's barking at a delivery for him from the jungle might also have had something to do with his decision to evolve into something vaguely resembling a human being).
DH has offered to hoover through downstairs, so I'll accept gratefully - Rosie rolled o the LR floor and left chunks of hair on the carpet - but I'll leave the dusting until tomorrow because I've had enough of Flying. The food inventory can also wait.

I started the day with a very rare (for me) appointment at the doctor's. I found a lump in my neck before Christmas and want it checking out. Probably nothing to worry about but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Having bloods taken tomorrow and waiting for an appointment letter to go for a scan.
In the meantime apparently my blood pressure is borderline high so I'm to monitor it at home morning and evening for a week. That's why I don't go to the doctors! You go in with one thing and come out with something else!!!
Anyhoo I'm picking up the monitor tomorrow, when I go to have bloods taken. Must make sure I drink plenty this afternoon or else they'll want to redo the kidney function test again. There speaks the voice of experience 😉
I want to get some weight off anyway, so this is a timely nudge.
I've stripped my bed and washed the bedding. Fed the birds and put out the recycling. Decanted bird seed into its container.
P & S called for coffee this morning. And I'm going to visit H for coffee and a catch up this afternoon.

Afternoon all. Not much flying done today, one washload, bathroom cleaned, out for a walk with both DDs and then a coffee. It's been a brighter day than I expected but the wind is picking up now.Hope everyone's OK x7

Quite right Round, probably nothing to worry about but better to get it checked out than pretend you didn't see it.About to do the filing. It's not a priority but I'll feel better when it's done. The stack is more than 5" high.Better is good enough.Note to self: Motivation follows Action, not the other way around.7

A bit of a mix and match day today.
DW emptied
WM has been on and washing is on the heated airer
some building society admin
dining table and place mats cleaned
top shelf of doom in our home office has been cleared of random items put there for no apparent reason. Plants watered and shelf given a good dusting.
one notebook decluttered by shredding the pages of rambling notes

Filing all up to date, and then I remembered that there was a huge job I started last July - changing all my passwords - which I hadn't finished because there were anomalies. Funny how I can sit on a Frog for six months and when I actually tackle it head on, it all falls in to place. There are two or three websites I can't do it on, but I've done it on all the others. Several hundred. Happy with that.It reminded me of something I came across a few weeks ago which I never knew. Motivation follows Action. I always thought it was the other way around, but there's no doubt that if I start something I'm more likely to actually do it, than if I wait for the motivation. The only thing I'm motivated to do is lie in bed and eat chocolate.Better is good enough.Note to self: Motivation follows Action, not the other way around.6

ebay sales posted - didn't see note from buyer requesting additional info until afterwards. Also requested a tracking number as 'he' uses some sort of shipping agent to buy...which is how he got past my refusal to post abroad. Well it's his lookout.

Hi all
Tired, headachy and a bit bleugh today. DH is getting over a cold and I hope I am not getting it. I did manage some Pilates first thing and 7.5 hours at the paid stuff. I also dusted and hoovered the LR today because I blitzed the kitchen on Friday.
I have been a little anxious since New Year, I know it's unhelpful to think like this but I am terrified of going back to how I was last summer. I thought the HRT had fixed it. I am going to try a guided meditation before bed.
Well done on getting checked out Round its always better to be sure.6
