My switch completed yesterday, last night I received notice that my direct debit with Plum, which was one of my 3 i transfered to qualify for the bonus, has been cancelled, i guess because of the change of bank. Now this has been cancelled will it still count? It won't suddenly make me disqualified for the bonus will it?

My update: Switch Completion Date 16th Jan. Incentive received today 4th Feb 🙂

I had this as well. I contacted Plum and had replies from their auto reply system saying this is what they do when change bank to keep things secure and I had to link my new account in plumb app and then it sets up a new direct debit. I’m not overly impressed with their system. Thankfully I’d set up 4 direct debits for my switch as one was taking a while so I did an extra one so even if plum now doesn’t count I should be ok. I hope others that used plum don’t loose out as a result

I too used Plum as a direct debit for the switch, and should be okay because I have 5 direct debits in place, but it's worth bearing in mind for future switches.
Used Tembo on a previous switch and it transferred successfully.

I have already had my switch summary letter from Lloyds. Plum was listed among those transferred as part of the switch. I have also used it successfully for earlier switches.

It does say switch with 3 active direc debits and obviously it was active at the time of the switch…..and it is listed in my DD's on Lloyds App still so if they don't pay me the incentive I will be quite peeved and tell them so.

I've also had the same with Plum. My hope is its still worked, as the day after the switch completed money came out of the Lloyds account from plum as the direct debit had already been initiated on the now closed account.

I popped on live chat to ask the question….they responded that the direct debits just needed to be active when the switch started and any cancellations once the switch took place shouldn't impact eligibilty for the incentive bonus.

My switch completed on 19th January and I received my incentive on 5th Feb. ££££

Called LLods switch team today as switch did not happen yesterday as promised. i opened new club account by phone and did switch at same time. This was because i had a joint account and no option to open club despite downgrading sole club to classic. I was told switch did not go ahead. She asked if there was any problem when we called but as i said no problems she consulted manager and listened to recording of phone call. It turns out it had never started for some undisclosed reason. I did switch again and was promised that the switch bonus would be honoured as it was their fault despite being after 3rd Feb. Any one else have this happen make sure to call and they should put it right.
