it’s been hot today here but the rest of the week is going to be roasting. I don’t mind it though - guess I’m one of the lucky ones

I weighed in at work and have lost 0.2kg - tiny amount but they all add up.

One of my colleagues has just started mounjaro on a private prescription and has lost 5.5lbs and is thrilled. I’m pleased for her (even though it’s not for me) she has about 5stone to get to the target she’s set herself. I’m weighing her as she doesn’t want to know what her start weight was. Once she feels like she’s losing she’ll face the start weight.

Glad your dad is ok and that the holidaymakers are having a wonderful time.

Started a post this morning then got side tracked!

Glad you dad is okay @Jellybaby and that you only had a titchy gain x

    Well done @bubbs, @beanielou and @Matron_Midge 🙌🏻

Glad results for DH were good @bubbs x

I STS - feeling very chunky right now and heat not helping. I WFH today and then food shopped afterwards with DH. Had a spinach omelette for breakfast, WM cheese and lettuce roll with an apple for lunch. We had FB Mo’s paprika chicken with rice and broccoli for tea. I’ve just had a skinny bar with a cuppa. Snacks have been a banana and some strawberries mmmmm.

Step count is pitiful today - only 1.4k - but I’m taking DDad to Ramsgate tomorrow for a mooch so hoping for more 🤞🏻

Well done on the losses and STS 🎉🎉

I think it’s about 23 or 24 here woohoo 🥳 there’s a slight breeze every so often which makes it bearable. I’ve weeded front and back, only stopped because my hips were screaming but looks loads better. Also restained the wood around the garage roof (Cant remember what you call it) and side door.

So fat today I’ve had collagen in my coffee 2.5 swips, fruit, yoghurt and fibre choice 40g Quaker granola. Think dinner will be a huge chicken salad and I’ll make some potato salad, probably 3 or 4 swips for salad cream.

Additional body magic running to the loo as I’m drinking so much 😁

We are absolutely melting and have decided to come home early. Will be home over the weekend. Have changed the tunnel booking for an extra £41! Doesn’t help that the water pump has packed up and now we’re having to use bottled water for everything.

Oh Denise, thought it would be hot, i know what it;s like in here and we have a bigger space, not enjoyable with the heat like that, it's a shame but you have to be careful.

Whata bugga about the water pump, take care next few days and safe travels hone x

    Morning all,

Good decision @joedenise but what a shame to have to change your plans. Chaos yesterday trying to get onto your island so I hope they’ve sorted it by the weekend x

Where is your consultant now @bubbs ? That’s sad about the rabbit 🐰 😢

We took DDad to Ramsgate yesterday. There are several antique emporiums and the cliff tunnels which were lovely and cool. He’s on a coach trip with Mum to Bury St Edmunds today - hopefully air conditioned! We are going to London on the train tomorrow 🥵

I am WFH today - means I can wear shorts and a T-shirt and have my hair up 😊🙌🏻

    Food today:

    B - AF bacon, poached egg, tomatoes - P, S

L - brown rice bowl - feta, pickles, edamame beans, soy sauce - free, calcium, P, S

    D - steak, SW chips, salad - P, free, S

    Calcium - milk

    Fibre - almonds

    SWIPs - skinny bar 3.5
