Try to remember to look after yourself Take it easy…..eat whatever you fancy….there’s times for SW when you’ve got over the shock.

Happy travels everyone. We’re going in a caravan the weekend after next. When we booked it, it was to weigh the areas up near to where we wanted to move to. Things have moved much faster than we expected so we’re having a chill near the site - it’s about an hour away from the new to be house 🤞 So we will also travel and explore the area where we’ve bought the house and visit Dd and the gks.

Today was a complete waste of time. I had a hospital appointment- when I got there I was told it was a phone consultation- my letter and reminder definitely said at the hospital. The consultant is lovely and was full of apologies- I should have had a steroid injection but wasn’t told about it a few weeks ago…..I thought the appointments system had just messed up. Apparently the NHS funding hadn’t come through for it at the private hospital and politics were to do with it not being a phone appointment too. He is going to re list me for an injection and if it doesn’t get funded is going to refer me to the hospital where he does is nhs work. No idea what on earth has been going on behind the scenes but obviously something to do with the nhs funding at the private hospital (which I was sent to via NHS) 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️So it’s just a matter of waiting to see what happens next.

That was yesterdays post I hadn’t sent

I have slipped into eating more processed food recently than I usually eat…..goodbye meals and drinks with various friends. I had terrible heartburn all day yesterday and at tea time I ate chicken, pasta with a pesto from a jar rather than making my own. It lay very heavily…needless to say I was so sick last night. I haven’t felt poorly so I suspect it’s been dietary rather than any sort of bug. I slept so well after the event and feel fine this morning. Wake up call to me that I need to keep my eyes on the ball - or rather food.
I haven’t weighed as my scales have given up but will definitely be upping my game again. It’s only the last week or so I’ve really slipped back but just shows how what we eats can influence our health.

Have a great time away @milann

🤞for some help at docs @bubbs I’ve actually ran to the loo all day which is very unusual for me - sorry if TMI 😁. I think it’s probably stress with all the running around at the moment.

I think this is the first day I’ve been on plan since last week! I had chilli nacho feast for dinner which is a SW dish and is basically homemade wedges covered in chilli, covered in cheese and bunged under the grill!

My friend goes to a different class says everyone raves about it?? It was tasty if lacking any speed on the side as I’ve run out. I did wonder about adding some beetroot and gherkins 🤣

    Positive vibes today 🤞 @bubbs 😁

I’m off to buy wine, chocolates and window wipers! I’m fed up of listening to DS2 saying he needs to get new blades every time it rains - we’re in Scotland it rains every day! - so I’ll go get them and tell him it’s part of his birthday present 🤣🤣. Wine and chocs are thank you gifts for a couple of friends - I will not be tempted 😎

Since taking collagen I’m finding I’m not hungry in the mornings so just having brunch/lunch and dinner. Tummy issues are better too. Salmon on the planner for dinner, don’t know if I fancy it though.

    Have a good day everyone.

I’ll post some photos in the week

Happy birthday when it arrives Glad.

We ended up ‘popping’ into the Swedish furniture shop yesterday. Oooohhhhh the cash I’ve spent in my head with lots of ideas for the new place 😳😄 I ate a few chips and meatballs and passed the rest over to Dh and ds. I did have a doughnut as we ended up visiting the cafe twice- can’t believe how long we were actually in the shop 😯….we joked theyd be putting us on the payroll. It wasn’t the healthy meal I’d planned but was 1/2 price via the Wednesday offer they have on atm. In my defence the shop is a 5 minute drive from ds house and when we move it’ll be quite a journey away involving the toll on the bridge over the Thames so we might as well suss what we like and once the work is done ont eh house order on line, unless we see something more suitable in between times.
This morning I’ve had 1 round of toast with marmite and butter. Not sure what I fancy later but a hm ready meal with rice from the freezer.

    Afternoon all 😁

Glad, Happy Birthday when it arrives , have a lovely break .

Milann, hope you enjoyed your doughnut 😋

Jelly, hope you have some sunshine today, really hot here.

Well i got on really well with the doctor, he was really nice, trying me on a low dosage of Tramadol but keep on the Naproxen as well as they are anti inflammatory , given me something for the constipation as well to clear it, but he said if i don't feel any better with my arm in 10 days or so to go back, i said that's ok it's getting the appointment! this was made nearly 2 weeks ago, he said i know rolling his eyes.

I also learnt the Laxido is not a laxative , i thought it was, that just softens your stool, which thinking about it is why Dad had it because of his stoma. So he has prescribed something for that too, so i should be 💩through an eye of a needle 🤣🤣🤣

    Food today

Picky plate , 1 sv for mayo.

Tea i am going to try and make a quiche with wrap as "pastry"

    Hello!

Got back really late Tuesday night. Plane got delayed due to an issue and pilot had to turn it off and on again (not even joking). Worked yesterday but from home 🙏

DDad came for dinner (SW Mo’s lasagne and salad) and the football. Think DSis has had enough of him so my turn to pick up the mantle. We’ve been to Sandwich today for lunch and a walk about. Really cute town. Had a JP with cheese and salad garnish. Dinner tonight is SW pork schezuan.

We are visiting my aunt (DDad’s sister) tomorrow in a care home. My cousin and his wife will meet us there, then we’ll have lunch somewhere. Don’t know what will be on offer but will go with the flow. I was 3lb heavier when I weighed earlier but hoping some will still be plane bloat.

Glad you got some different meds @bubbs and hope things get moving soon. Can sympathise as I am either one extreme or the other. Have always been like it tbh. DH is like clockwork and doesn’t understand my plight!

Glad DH is out of hospital @Jellybaby - shame to put your holiday back but can understand why. That chilli wedges meal sounds nice 😊

Have a good break @Glad and enjoy your birthday x

Where is Kev? Maybe we scared him off!!
