Well just got the washing in and the black clouds were really rolling in, most dry apart from a couple of pairs of leggings and dh's pair of joggers.

Just sat down and heavens opened!

Morning all, it's a beautiful morning but the forecast is for more rain this afternoon. As you say @beanielou and @bubbs absolutely crazy weather.

As we had such a late lunch yesterday we ended up just having a snack in the evening and not the planned steak & chips.

I can't believe I forgot to pick up bread yesterday which was the main reason for going into Morrisons so means we need to go out again today as I now have no bread at all and DH is down to his last slice of sourdough! He's not going to make any more until after we get back so that means he'll also be eating the WM even though he doesn't like it very much!

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette - Calcium; P
    L - fajita pasta - P; S;F; 3
    D - steak, chips, onions, mushrooms - P; S; 4

    Calcium - milk; cheese
    Fibre - none planned
Swips - sweet chilli sauce 3; chips 4

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning from Majorca!!

We arrived last night and ate out - paella - blooming lovely. Hotel very nice, staff lovely and a short 2 minute stroll to the front. We might get the bus into Sollar today to have a mooch about.

Breakfast is buffet style so I had fruit, then cooked plate of bacon medallions, mushrooms, baked beans and a slice of tortilla - all edible but barely lukewarm so tomorrow I think I’ll ask for a cooked fresh omelette.

Sorry your shoulder is painful @bubbs - yes maybe it’s time to try different meds x

    Have a good day all.

    Morning all,

    Have a fab time! @Coxy11 I love paella 😋

This week started so well but is going down hill rapidly. Dad is back is hospital, nothing too major and hoping he’ll get out by the weekend but age and procedures needed you never know. I’m picking up my new car today and it’ll be put straight to work so hope everything goes smoothly!

Food wasn’t great yesterday as I had nothing for most of the day then grabbed a M&S meal deal leaving the hospital as I was feeling sick and even although I opted for the fruit pot, I couldn’t bear to look up the sandwich swips 🙈

I’m having fruit and yoghurt just now and I’m taking a soft pitta with ham salad and banana with me. Dinner is spaghetti bolognaise from the freezer. That’s the plan so 🤞

@Coxy11 - that's why I always opt for omelette when we're on AI holidays and I would if I was just B&B too. Did they not have a microwave where you could heat it up? Most hotels do. Think we've only been to one where there wasn't one for guests to use and you had to ask them to nuke your plate!
