Morning all, very cloudy at the moment and forecast to more rain although not supposed to be thunder and lightening and hailstones today - just rain, rain and more rain!

Bit more sorting out of stuff which needs to go back into the motorhome; am just putting everything into a plastic box to carry it out as it's easier than using bags.

    Today's plan:

    B - mincemeat baked oats - Fibre; P; F; 4
    L - LO roast pork with salad - P; S
    D - Bombay-style chicken and potato traybake - P; S; F

    Calcium - milk
    Fibre - oats
    Swips - mincemeat 4

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all and welcome @kgw1009 👋

We took the little tram up to Sóller yesterday - very pretty. Just had a drink and an ice cream so we were very ready for dinner! I had sea bream with potatoes, asparagus and tomatoes. We will gloss over the GnT and bottle of sangria made with cava that DH and I shared! Really refreshing.

We are having a pool day today and DH has booked a massage. Hoping for another fish dish later as it’s in abundance here being a harbour resort.

Awful weather reports coming in from family back home. I hope you are all keeping dry!

    Morning all 😁

Coxy sounds like you are having a fab time, enjoy!

It is really wet and cold here and must be cold as DH has put the heating on 😱 and his usual saying to me is "you can't be cold" 🤣 and i reply i am and you look like a belisha beacon 🤣

I might make a SW toad in the hole for tea, see how it works with the wholemeal flour, little yorkies work ok with it

Same here today, a bright start but now endless rain @joedenise! ☹️ Fortunately I've only got to put up with it for another couple of days!😎👍🏼

We've put the heating on for a bit on a few days lately @bubbs . The weather just makes the house feel damp and miserable.

I gave my walking group a miss this morning. Pure vanity, as I'd had my hair done yesterday and don't want to look like a drowned rat when I go out for dinner later.🤣

I remember when DH and I shared a jug of sangria in Seville once @Coxy11. It goes down so easily, just like drinking pop! When I'm away, I'll be drinking mainly G&Ts as I'm not over keen on Turkish wines. It's not easy to find but I'm hoping to dig out slimline tonic at least for drinking in our apartment even if it's rarely served in bars and restaurants. 🤞🏼

I've had a fry up for breakfast, tuna salad planned for lunch (swips in LTL mayo) and then it depends what I choose when we're out tonight. Fortunately there's usually a good fish dish on the menu but wine swips will be involved too. ☺️

TIE I’m so sorry to hear about your Dh. Condolences. Look after yourself.

I haven’t been doing too well with SW. My head has been all over the place. We decided to sell Millie Motorhome which was far Mir emotional than I ever imagined…..for goodness sake it’s a lump of metal, wood and plastic….so why did I get in such a tizzy. It was the right decision and time for it to go and the money will come in very useful to do the work we want to do on the new house. But it was so sad seeing her driven away.
We’ve had silly forms form the buyers solicitors asking for all sorts of paperwork concerning planning permissions which we don’t need as we’re not in a conservation area. Dh has been getting very harassed with it all 😳 So I’m going to sit down with him and go through it a question at a time instead of panicking at the whole sheet of questions a he is doing 😳

My scales keep sticking so they’ve gone in the bin, I’ll buy new ones when I move so will continue reading and doing what I can to loose weight. I’m hoping I’ll fit in the blue dress for the wedding at the end of June…..if not I’ll have to wear whatever fits me 😳 Dh is taking the Micky saying I’ve broken the scales 🤣😳

Hope everyone’s doing ok and all the gents hospital appointments are going well. Hope the motorhome is ready for the trip Joe Denise.

The motorhome is back! We're definitely off to France on Monday. Just need to get some washing done and dried as not got enough for at least 2 weeks which is what we like to take with us for a month so we only have to do washing once while we're away!

One week's clothes are sorted and ready to go into the box in a vacuum bag ready for when the first week's run out - we put one week's worth into the overhead lockers and another in the vacuum bag for 2nd week before washing the lot at a launderette - usually in a supermarket car park while we do some shopping!

Good luck with your paperwork @milann - moving can be really stressful. No plans here to move again at the moment!

Brilliant news Denise 👏👏 least you will have some decent weather!

Milann good luck with the move and paperwork.

I forgot to say DH finally got all his meds yesterday, so now he has all the correct ones 👏 i got a message from Boots yesterday, just after we had got back my tablets were ready, so went today, they have only bloody lost them 😱!! I was in there ages, the lad was looking, a girl joined in, then the pharmacist , she was going mad, she said this is happening far to often, i was there about 20 mins, they went through every drawer , Pharmacist is going i can't even re do them as don't think we have any, i was keeping my cool for a change 🤣 anyway the lad looked and there was some, so the prescription was re done!

DH has STILL not received his paperwork for his cancer bloods, so he rang Macmillan nurse again and left a message , she has not got back to him yet 🙄

He had another heart appointment come today 6th July , he said i might as well move in there 🤣
