I had no intention of watching the football last night, but managed to accidentally watch it 😆 DH was snoring so I headed down to lie on the sofa at around 2am. I was thinking it would be half time and I could check how things were going, but then found little jwil sat there watching, and it hadn't started yet. So I watched the game with him. I'm shattered today though!
Been into the office today, it's very hot here again.

Morning @jwil I'm just catching up…
Pleased that you eventually received the new parasol - just in time for the next heatwave. Life is a constant rollercoaster with children - it was lovely to read that Little Miss had a great time visiting a friend. PAD's look great - go you!. Weight loss will resume - don't be hard on yourself. Pleased that you have time off work in the summer holidays to look forward. Best wishes x

An amazing 3.5lb off for me today 😁 I'm now back where I should be, so hopefully all downhill from here now. Mixing it up really helped last week, along with trying some new recipes which made life more interesting. The heat helps too as I just don't want to snack, and if I do it's all fruit. I have been having a magnum in the evenings, but that's my treat, and I've been off the chocolate for about 10 days now too.
Speaking of the heat though, we're just melting so not up to much. It doesn't look like it's going to be less than 27 degrees any time soon. At least the nights aren't as hot as they were last time, so it's not quite as bad. I love my parasol, and it actually does a reasonable job of blocking some of the sun coming into the house.
I'm really looking forward to the holidays, just slowing down and not having to dash about so much will be nice. I'll have to make sure I get some exercise though. I've said I'd like to do what we were doing in April with the 100 mile challenge - just get out and about, but this time without the pressure to be doing loads of steps. Hopefully lots of visits to the seaside and countryside and make good use of our NT membership to keep costs down. I've got one full week off and a few odd days, plus my Fridays. DH has two weeks off so the kids should get plenty of time out and about. My work days should shorten too as I won't have to allow all the extra time for school runs, so that will be nice.
