I would never be brave enough to wear white bottoms, that would be asking for me to fall in a puddle of mud or something 😂
I'm glad it's not just me! Though I do spill on everything, hence wearing a lot of patterns!
I'm so envious, they always look so cool in the heat. I'm not too bad with luggage though, I try not to take too much.
Thank you 😊 It's nice not to be alone. I wish I could wear it more often though.

Cashback on my PAD today! It's been a good month for them thanks to the NW bonus.
The weather is back to normal today, it feels much more comfortable! There was a bit of drizzle this morning but not too much. Little miss and I are about to go to jr parkrun, and then I might go out in the garden for a bit. DH went out there yesterday and did a load of cutting back so has made a good start. I think he's planning on a tip run today.
Little miss tried to stay up for the football last night and fell asleep on the sofa. DH and little jwil just left her there after the game. She woke up this morning very confused as to where she was 😂 I didn't stay up for it.

Nearly all my tops are white! I'm OK most of the time but if I'm cooking anything with tomato in it that's when it will get stained and of course virtually impossible to get the stain out!
I was wearing a white dress I'd made a couple of days ago and opened a ring pull can of tomato sauce based veg mix and yes a great big stain on it! I've washed it 3 times using Astonish soap on it and the stain is virtually gone. Hopefully one more wash will actually shift the stain so I can wear it again!

You are clearly one of those people that I envy! I hope you manage to get the stain out of your dress. It's amazing that you make your own clothes.

Re.little handbags on planes, I travelled with someone last year who had a rucksack instead! I managed to stuff quite a few items in it for onboard use!

That's a good idea. Not that I fly anyway, the last time I was on a plane was probably 20 years ago 😂

I've been out in the garden this morning, it's starting to look better. I want it to be useable rather than just a neglected overgrown jungle. I'd also like to get a parasol which would hopefully help block some of the sun coming in at the back when it's hot. DH is doing the second tip run of the day. It's mostly garden waste though, so not much 'stuff' going.

Thank you. I'm not particularly good but I can make some things which look ok. I've also had some where I've ended up just throwing the fabric away because what I've made doesn't look right or doesn't fit particularly well.
I'm making a simple shift dress at the moment - just need to decide whether to make it sleeveless and just bind the armholes or whether to cut out the sleeves and put those in. I'll try it on once it's in one piece and then make the decision!
