Nice PAD total for the month! I had a bit of cashback to add to today's payment.
Back to work today, but at least it's just today and tomorrow. My desk is in the hottest part of the house so I'll have to see. I've got a fan though. It's not meant to be quite as hot as yesterday thankfully.

Hope its not too hot for work, bit cooler up here as there is cloud cover so far anyway. Nice PAD and a round figure too :)

Thank you 😊 I had to get a fan and point it at my laptop as it was seriously overheating! We're due to get replacements, and mine cannot come soon enough. It's definitely at the end of its life.
Thank you 😊 That's a great result with the strawberries. I've just bought a big tray of them and they are lovely.

Happy Friday and Happy Payday!
I was up early this morning as I had to take Dh to work so I had time to go through all the finances and do the money shuffle. In great news, my pension has reached the minimum amount I wanted should I retire and take it early in 7 years time 😁 That is contingent on me working full time until that point, but that is the plan. I'm unlikely to actually retire at that point, but it's nice to think I could. I'll probably try and go part time somewhere else instead. It really all depends on what the kids decide to do and how much financial support they need to do it! It does feel like a milestone reached 😁
DH's car completely died the other day. All is pointing to it simply being the battery and alternator though. It was already booked in for next week, but we've managed to get it over today. Everything shut down on his way home from work the other day. He couldn't move, close the windows, put the handbrake on or lock the door! Luckily it wasn't on a main road, and we managed to jump it to get it home where we could try and get enough charge into the battery to do all that, and then get it to the garage.
Me and the kids went bowling this morning which they enjoyed. We haven't really done anything this week apart from the beach visit last weekend because of the heat and me working for part of the week. We'll try and do something over the weekend.

That’s amazing news on your pension. Be proud.
