I went to a funeral of an ex colleague yesterday. Only in their 50s, so sad. They had a lovely turnout though so we saw people we hadn't seen for years.

I came home to a letter from my CC saying I was 2 months in arrears - I am most definitely not! Tried calling, no luck, so went on online chat, they say my account is not showing any arrears or charges, they can see all the payments I've made so it seems to have been a system error with payments done over the weekend. I have no idea what to think but everything looks ok in the app, so hopefully that's it. Very annoying though!

Good idea to check your credit file. I use the MSE one as it’s free.

Sorry to hear about the funeral jwil. So sad.

Are you sure the letter is actually from your CC company? If it’s asking for payment is it actually the correct payment details for your cc ? I would send a copy, with a letter of complaint and a copy of your current statement to the complaint address on your cc website and ask for them to investigate. If they sent it to you in error point out how much anxiety and upset they have caused you and ask them for a goodwill gesture!

It is annoying! Car balance is going down nicely though, thank you!

Good idea, I will do thank you. I also use the MSE one.

Thank you. Yes, it's definitely from them, it is in my statement and is showing on the online version of the statement. I don't normally get paper statements from them. The statement itself looks fine but there's an extra page saying that I haven't made the payments, even though they show on the statement, and I got an arrears notice as well. I'm wondering if it's because I always pay as soon as it shows in the app, so maybe I'm paying too quickly!

I might write to them and complain. I didn't have the energy to do much on Monday other than confirm it wasn't right. I don't want to risk losing my 0%
