Hurrah to the OP and the sod-it-seaside 🥂
Vinted's sizing update was so annoying. Though clothing sizing is so annoying in general that if you see something you like and it looks about right, there's no harm contacting seller for more info. I always measure if messaged but then I often put in my listings 'x on label but imo a baggy x-x or fitted x-x based on my body size' as it gives people a better idea of the piece as clothing sizes tell you nothing!

Got into bed last night and thought 'I didn't congratulate jwil on the comp win!' 😂
Congratulations, that's a great prize 🥂

Haha love it. I am just as keen to see the mortgage go though, and it's nice that DH is getting involved with it and starting to do something productive with extra money he gets rather than just letting it get sucked up into general spending.
It's just hard work finding stuff on Vinted now.

Thank you 😊 Sod it seaside days are good!
I don't tend to message people, as I only ever go on there on a whim so would probably forget to go back and check. I do find it useful when people put information in there about the fit, especially when it's something labeled as XL or XXL which definitely means different things in different brands!

Haha it's funny that you were thinking about me at bedtime. I'm sorry for disturbing a restful time 🤣 Thank you, it's a very nice prize!

We collected the water butt today, it's a lovely decent big one. They took one look at our car and asked if we'd manage to fit it in. It was fine! We have lots of practice at cramming things into cars from car booting.
We'll need to sort out where that is going now, as it will be too big for where I thought it might go.
We've had a lovely day with family who are down from Orkney, so we don't see them often.
I gained 1/2lb this week at SW and I'm quite annoyed about that as I don't feel like it was deserved. Today has not been on plan, but I want to get straight back on it tomorrow as I'm now at 2st 7.5lb off and I don't want to lose my 2.5 stone!
In good news though I bought a couple of tops in a supermarket yesterday and they fit lovely. It's the first time I've worn clothes from 'normal' shops for years.

That explains it perfectly. In what world is size 12 XL?
