I know it’s for work but 2 nights at a conference in a posh hotel with a room all to yourself sounds fabulous 😍 A few years ago I had 2 nights in London with work and having a room and bed to myself was amazing.

I do too, I shall be bowing out of any social activities if I can, it will be a long enough day without them. I'm the only one going from work, so I'll probably only know a handful of people.

I'm so tired, I have been up since 3am! I wish I could get on top of this not sleeping, it's blooming annoying. There's no one single cause which makes it more frustrating, if it's not one thing, it's another.

It's not helping my losing weight as I just couldn't care less when I'm tired. Hence I maintained this week which is annoying. I was very close to throwing in the towel this morning, as I just don't have the energy to do this, but I do want to do it, so I will continue. I think I'm just going to take the pressure off until after the Easter holidays now. Just try not to go overboard, and try and rest and get my energy back. Hopefully the 100 mile walking challenge will help with my sleep, though my knee pain is one of the issues keeping me awake. I also need to change up my meals as I'm just eating the same stuff and it's getting boring.

Maintaining when you're sleeping badly is a great achievement!

Remind me what has happened with knee so far, have you had a physio appointment?

Boring meals really do suck the joy out of the day don't they. It's Sunday tomorrow, perfect day for having a rummage in the cupboards and freezer and seeing what new pairings or batch cookings can be done 🍻

Hi Jwil , I feel for you , those early starts really do catch up with you , and don't you think you are hungrier as your body feels like it needs lunch at 10am ! Fingers crossed the combination of clocks changing , your walking challenge and easter break help a little , good luck xx

Thank you. I haven't done anything with this knee, but got given some exercises from the physio from when I had pain in the other knee so I've been trying to do them. It's not that bad during the day, it's mostly painful at night, and I can't get comfortable with it when it's painful. I've tried using pillows etc, but it doesn't help. Ramming it into the back of the sofa seems to be the best thing 😂

We've already got our meals in for this week, but I'm going to have a look through my recipe books and see if I can find some new ones to try while I'm off over Easter. We've been eating down the cupboards and freezers, so there's little lurking but plenty of opportunity to refill with new things.

They definitely do. I'm normally up at 5 anyway, so don't want to lose any more sleep! It does make me crave sugar all day. Thank you, I'm sure it will pick up again!

I know you do SW and that they have an app. Are there recipes on there that you could ring the changes with? I’m a WW gold member and use their app a lot. They have online recipe challenges and workshops to keep you motivated and to quote them ‘food happy’. Is there something similar on your SW app you could explore? Just keep on keeping on and hopefully the sleep issue will get better and everything else will fall into place.
