Those PADs are amazing so far this year. You must be well on track to beat last year’s total. It just goes to show how those small amounts add up.

Thank you 😊 It really does add up doesn't it. I'm very pleased with them!

I'm so tempted to take £89 out of my savings to get into the £7ks, but I'm not going to, I'll be there next month anyway.
Happy Friday! I'm very glad it's the end of the week. I am hoping for a quieter weekend at home this week, we seem to have been out and about and doing lots of peopling over the last few weeks. I'd like to get stuff done at home.
No sod it visits to the seaside for me today, I feel shattered, so just want to relax today in peace. Yesterday me gave today me a gift of ensuring the kitchen was all tidy so I am very grateful to that this morning. I have hoovered round, and want to sort out the financials this morning.
It's coming up to 7 years to my planned retirement date, so I want to ramp things up to make sure it's achievable. It's fine in terms of the pension, but it will be where I am in terms of mortgage, debt and savings, and what the kids decide to do with their lives. It still likely means that I'll leave my current job and look for something part time rather than fully retiring but that will be a break in itself.
I've agreed to go away for a conference with work. That will be the first time I've been away from the kids overnight ever! My first alone night time in over 14 years - I can't wait 😂 It will be two nights in what looks like quite a posh hotel.

I hope you’re planning for and looking forward to an undisturbed bath. That was always my biggest treat if i was working away while my two were youngish.

Ooh I never thought of that. I'm not really a bath person but I might be persuaded if it's nice and posh! Thank you.
It will make a change!
Yes, I'll sneak you all in 😁

Ooh enjoy that! I just love an in disturbed night’s sleep if I go away with work, which isn’t very often. Just drives me mad that they plan so much socialising in around the work meaning there’s not much time left to just switch off. I really need downtime each day just to function properly.
