That's a shame about hobbycraft, but best to be safe with the young un's. Hope you'll be able to find an equivalent gift for same money as you'll presumably be refunded.

Sounds like a good scrub down was had though.

Despite it involving hanging round, is it worth keeping the appt in case they can identify cause to stop it happening again?

Congrats on the lottery win, and bravo that chapess for passing on the tops, what a nice thing 😊

I so wish I could say something helpful about poor little miss. Are there any weekend hobby or random afterschool groups she could join that don't involve the mean kids, that would give her other mates and/or renewed confidence?

Good for you being forthright with mortgage co, these people do know how to take the absolute mick (do secretly check if they've done it though, if not get yer compo face on, sod 'em!)

Thank you :) She went to Brownies to hopefully meet some other children who would also then likely go to the same secondary school. She wanted to give up in the summer. She really struggles socially with her peers, but she's confident and articulate around adults. Hopefully she'll find it easier as she gets older. I'll keep trying to find something.

Good point about getting my compo face on if the mortgage don't do it - I'd asked them before and they didn't respond, so I'll have double the complaint.

    Thank you 😁
