Recent OATS included making the Yule log 😋, created a new spreadsheet for tracking spending, I added 10+ categories of areas we wish to track, I also created a new master spending tracker spreadsheet so it will just be a case of needing to press copy for future years.
I'm thinking of making a second Yule log in a couple of weeks as I wish to tweak the recipe, I can't imagine anyone here objecting.

More windows have been fitted here, which has meant I have had to do a lot of moving and shifting so I am shattered. I have sanded a damaged (before the windows!) window ledge, and found the right charger for that sander, and used a hand planer. Absolutely out of my comfort zone so I am quite proud of myself. The house is currently in dirty chaos until the current works are finished. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

Well done @redofromstart. At least now the windowsill is ready to deal with when the dirt and chaos are resolved. Moving also usually reveals lots of dirt and chaos...
I managed to fill the garden waste bits on Monday (can't tell that anything has happened to the laurel though!), wash and dry some laundry, and write one letter.
I need to write another letter, plus a card for my neighbour whose husband died (not unexpectedly, but suddenly) on Sunday morning, then buy stamps. Also need onions and carrots. I may have to go shopping tomorrow.
Dog had short walks Mon/Tues as I was struggling after a busy weekend, but a long one today - it was lovely earlier.
One load of laundry is in, and I hope I'll manage to get it dry on the airer overnight.
I've got a jumper to de-bobble later, and then a load of woollens to wash. Also trying to de-dog hair some of the house. And start taking down some of the Christmas decorations. At least there's no tree to deal with.4 -
Marvellous work @redofromstart and @greenbee
Repotted a plant. I do not know why this always lingers on my OATs list for so long when it takes about three minutes max.
Four vinted listings 💪

Found a little empty supplements pot, complete with silica sachet, swept all the lightly dried sage leaves that I collected last Saturday. Labelled it and put it with the rest of my herbs and spices 😊

I ordered another calendar so my OAT today is to transfer all the classes, appointments and reminders onto the new one. I did already have a 2026 calendar but the days started on a Sunday instead of a Monday so it was annoying me!
I had to reorder my thyroid prescription and I have a new computer instead of my laptop and I couldn't remember how to log-in. I worked it out finally so I will pick the prescription up at the weekend.
I feel quite tired today so I decided not to go on a group walk and also I decided to miss my class tonight, even though it was paid for. I hadn't actually read the book for this month so it was quite pointless for me to go to the class. It was a young adult one and it didn't really interest me. A few people on the Whatsapp group said there was a massive twist so I googled what it was. I'm just going to delete it from my kindle as I have so many books to read at the moment anyway.
I'm just spending today at home. I need to get some cash out as the window cleaner is finally coming round on Saturday and I'm getting a massage too so I need cash for that as well. My husband might go out to get the cash as it is raining and it sometimes triggers a fibromyalgia flare up if I get rained on.

We have to choose paint colours. I am in paroxysms of indecision and overwhelm
I am however at least wearing a new to me mahoosive knit jumper which is bringing much comfort

Never used Dunelm paint but have them paint everything white so their errors show up easily & you can chuck any colour on afterwards.4
