Ha, that's the very definition of an OAT 😂 well done! 😂Blackcats said:Ok it's time for folks to brace themselves for the most ridiculous, overdue task that has been tackled today - I sharpened my getting blunter and blunter eye liner - it's been annoying me for quite sometime and it took 3 twists in the sharpener and under a minute to complete including finding a sharpener and putting the sharpener back where it lives.2 -
Bravo @Blackcats
Make-up OATs are always tricky, I guess because it feels like there's no time to sort things when you're putting it on as you're inevitably doing so to go out
I should at some point go through my make-up and get rid of bits that haven't been worn for years, but as they're small items it's quite far down the list!
However, I probably don't need the box they're in which would free up a bit of space, hmm...2 -

Maybe we could themed OAT days in the future - make up, herbs n spices, socks, paperwork, DIY or whatever.
I painted my gas cupboard finally. I can now put the ornaments and lamp back on it and put all the painting stuff away.
I did not clean the coops because I decided to stay in my PJs all day. I'll do them tomorrow, I'm WFH. Yes, I will regret this decision tomorrow.
I made a meal using up lots of veg. I made a kind of minced lamb and veg shepherds pie filling. I'm going to freeze it in portions and then I can decide when I use each portion how to finish it off/top it. I had it for tea and topped it with potato slices. I took a couple of risk but luckily they turned out ok. I used minced lamb, red and white onion, carrots, spinach...... cubes of celeriac (risk 1) and some cubed cooked beetroot (risk 2) that needed using up. I figured they're all root vegetables after all. I used another potato - this time from the store of large baking potatoes.
I have started outlining my lecture notes. Literally a few bullet points but it's a start. I'm hoping they're all really curious and chatty and I can just fill the time answering their questions and discussing interesting things rather than rely on slides. I should probably do the boring slides to be on the safe side though.
