Well, I have to be fair, the first time I read about the technique was in a Jack Monroe book. I know folks have opinions about Jack, and it probably wasn't the personal 'invention' she claims, but that's where I became aware of it.

Had a quieter day here as I was a bit tired after yesterday and it has been very hot! 🥵
Potted up my begonias with a couple of Cambridge blue (pale) lobelia in each pot and moved around to my east facing courtyard. Still had one lobelia left so plonked that in a pot along with a Gaura lindheimeri I had spare, so assembling a wiffly wafty pillar and a spiller, with no filler, but I think it will look pretty, a bit ethereal and romantic in my courtyard 😊 Sometimes I quite enjoy breaking the rules and playing 🤩
Made a quinoa salad for the first time. Not bad and managed to cook the quinoa correctly 👏 Added mint and parsley from the garden ❤️
Cleaned the bathroom and loo. The bathroom got quite a deep clean including the plant stand being disassembled and thoroughly dusted 😊
Finished a novel, almost read another 😊🤩
Wrangled Mr KK’s washing, all dry and away 👏
Put my new 1 tog duvet on my bed in a clean cover. The bamboo bedding only arrived at 6pm so won’t be dry by tonight. I guess I’ll try that tomorrow night / next week 😊🤷♀️

Not sounding much quieter, well done on the productiveness. Isn't it so pleasing once you get round to doing summat like cleaning a plant stand 😊 (after several years obvs 😂)
