my mum once woke up in the middle of the night to find the wardrobe door slowly opening… after bravely turning on the light, she found there was a baby rabbit peering out. Clearly the cat had taken in it there at some point the previous day!

Thank you all for reminding me why I never had a second cat.

I laughed at rabbit gate. Such a joy to read. Bless Chloe.
Re counselling, lifting burdens can only be a good thing in the long run even if tough to go through.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
It was a citizen's arrest?
Or
During routine patrol, Chief Inspector Chloe observed the culprit munching cauliflower heads and pounced. She is currently composing her statement while licking her paws (autocorrected to herpes for some ungodly reason)and trying to get rabbit floof from between her teeth.
Maybe it was a scape - rabbit for the negative emotions? Be thankful she couldn't find a goat 🙏

Thanks for all the comments 😊 It was good to have something to laugh about and for Mr KK and I to ‘team’ over ❤️ Ended up telling my mother about it this afternoon when I rang her and it made her laugh as well 😊
Done a bit of gardening:
- Weeded one of the new beds by the deck
- Planted the gladiolus Byzantinus in the cleared space and FINALLY sowed some night scented stock seeds 😊
- Replanted the winter flowering honeysuckle that I found upside down with its roots in the air this morning and when I turned it right way up, most of the top had been munched. 🙄
- Pricked out and potted on lots of seedlings. 😊Made a batch of leek and split pea soup for work lunches. I’m surprised to find that I think this has had a useful impact on our monthly grocery spend, as what I use for soups is cheap (veggies, pulses and stock) and I have t canned anything else 🤷♀️😊
Dried Mr KK’s washing on the whirly, folded and Mr KK took up with him when he went up for his shower.
Kind of repaired the calendar I always have in the dining room - the hole for the hook had completely pulled through so I reinforced every page with sellotape and re-hole-pinched them. It’s a bit in the wonk now, but at least it is up again 😊
It’s been a nice day 😊KK
