I thought they handled it beautifully, really respectful and caring ❤️
Washing out on the line first thing, once the whirly had defrosted! 😂
Headed out to a menopause talk at the GP surgery - I was sceptical about how helpful it would be but the GP presenting, although not formally trained in menopause as such, was very motivated and genuinely interested and was able to answer all our questions. Apparently it might be possible to add a low dose AD to my HRT and that might help with the overnight hot flushes that still keep waking me in spite of the HRT. Also the surgery is planning a similar session on men’s health, so I might book that for me with Mr KK as a plus one, as he isn’t registered at my practice.
Rotated all the washing on the line and my village friend collected me for a lunch out. It was my turn to pay and it was a bit pricey, but we don’t see each other that often so, hey … 🤷♀️😊 Apparently she is getting into selling stuff on V1nted (she doesn’t work out of the house) so I suggested she might sell some of the stuff I am stuck with and just don’t have the time energy or motivation to deal with and we could go 50/50 on it. Not sure if that will come off but it could be good for both of us … 🤞Pulled the washing in - pretty much dry, including a big duvet cover 🎊🎉🤩😊👏
Climbed into scruffs and got out into the garden for a couple of hours. Couldn’t do what I really want to and get into some of the bigger weeds due to boring shoulder, so did loads of dead stuff clearing and weeded and cut back to ground level the bamboo that is creeping across the gravel under one of the Japanese maples here. Both places look loads better for the work I have done today, so even though I couldn’t garden-garden (I.e. have at the veggie patch with spade or fork) I have at least done a couple of jobs that needed doing, got outside and had light and air for two hours ❤️ Comfortably got 10K steps as well.
Mr KK meanwhile has been servicing the FJ before its upcoming MOT, pulling militaria ‘stuff’ together for a sale he is doing stall next weekend and he made a start on the last section of path that needs doing between the end of the house and the driveway. This section of path is only just over a metre long, but there are so many level changes in it that it just utterly defeated him last summer. He’s telling himself that this is a small job … however I know his ‘small jobs’ … We will see … 🤷♀️😉
Came into the house in a great mood after a lovely day to … feline regurgitation all over my side of the sofa; the cushion, the arm, the side of the bottom of the sofa and even down onto the floor! Fortunately she had missed my handbag (by millimetres!) or I would have been apoplectic! As it was I was mildly grumpy and resentful and I am yet again wondering just why I have a cat … ??! 🙄😂
£11.10 arrived from TCB so that has gone off as an OP and I TTd a further £1.05 😊👏

In the distant past I've had my open bag vomited into by one of the felines who also managed to drip it down the arm of the settee on the way south🙄🙃🐱

whyI have a cat … ??! 🙄😂You don't. She has you.
And you don't see her getting all upset that you keep digging up her garden now do you?! It was perfectly fine until you came along with your fancy ideas of prettiness and home grown food. Or maybe her "statement" today is proof of her telling you off??? 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱

A very productive day, and what a rare pleasure for a women's health practitioner to be actually helpful 😍
Oh dear to Madam Chloe though. Is this the sofa you just paid loads of money on after the last incident 😂😭

Hmmmm … Methinks this contract needs renegotiation…
Plus the semi-feral monster still hasn’t come for tea so now I’m worrying about her as well! 🙄Yup. The same sofa, pretty much the same location too …
