Treatment definitely helped my shoulder, but time seems to be the main theme - see this article here. I know what you mean about the cold packs, Kajikita, but worth a try if you can bear it - probably best in a hot summer. The gel is much better, I would say it was refreshingly cool and contains something to numb the pain too - shame they don't do a version for stressful jobs as I'd be buying the shop up 😂

Another mad busy day in work but did manage to slip out for a brief walk in the sunshine at lunchtime 😊🌞
Booked car in for air con fix. Really hoping it is just the condenser, as if it is the compressor as well, that’s likely to be a further £500 or so … 🤞
A nice moment in this though, was her asking how far away I would be travelling in their courtesy car as it’s ’only a f0rd fi3sta and not really for long distances’ - she knew exactly where I live when I told her - it is soooo lovely to be living so much closer to work now ❤️~ Have un-covered, rolled up and put away my winter duvet in the cupboard over the stairs. Duvet cover to the wash, vast swathes of floor revealed … 😉
~ Packed up my library books ready for changing on Friday 😊
~ Started the returns process for the MnS clothes designed for residents of Planet Zog … Took that parcel downstairs and put it straight in the car as there is no weight to it and that will remind me to send it off on Friday. £50 back to my CC / clothing budget 😊
These ^^ three activities are all related to me starting to reclaim my bedroom as it is getting overrun with clutter again …
~ Fed the birds whilst Mr KK fed the Chloe-bean.
~ Firmly encouraged a large black feline interloper to vacate our garden on Chloe’s behalf.
~ Made an edible dinner with beef meatballs for Mr KK, veggie ones for me, pasta and a dolly sauce with finely chopped mushrooms fried off in olive oil mixed through - very tasty for both of us 😊😋9.5K steps 😊

I don’t think it’s a frozen shoulder as it wasn’t immobility that caused it … But let’s see what the physio thinks tomorrow 🤷♀️

Excellent list without adding in being at work!
Hope the shoulder eases soon. Do you have an appropriately sized wheat bag you could warm up for bed that could soothe but also flexibly support your shoulder?

Thank you 😊
I have a microwaveable wrap thing that heats up but is far too bulky to lie on and would be uncomfortable. Plus it doesn’t stay warm for long - 20 minutes maybe?
Apparently the soreness overnight is inflammation building up from lack of movement and there’s not much I can do about that as I quite like lying still when I sleep …. 😉😂😂
Physio tomorrow. Hopefully he will be able to release at least some of the trigger points and that will help some … 🤞 Apparently he’s Dutch but his profile photo on his website makes him look like a huge ancient, grumpy, Viking warrior! Not quite sure what I will be walking into tomorrow …. 😂😉

Apols @KajiKita I thought I read you had a frozen shoulder - my fault for speed reading. I had a shoulder impingement, I think it was the result of hauling bags of gravel around - very painful and couldn't do my bra up for ages. Took time to get better but was definitely quicker recovery (according to friends) with the professional's help (the impingement is swelling and they recommended the cool to get the swelling down). Hope you get yours sorted soon - your professional will definitely give you the right advice.

How did the physio go @KajiKita ? Looking forward to hearing about the huge ancient, grumpy, Viking warrior!

He was huge (tall, broad and deep!) and very Viking looking (he’s Dutch) but very gentle and thoughtful.
I have a weakness in my supraspinatus muscle - I don’t know exactly what that is but apparently it’s really important for stabilising the shoulder - which absolutely makes sense considering how I twanged it … He worked c. 6 trigger points in my deltoids (the bit at the top of your upper arm just below the ball joint) and the tendons that run over the very front of the ball joint. He then used ultrasound on those tendons as well. I have an exercise to strengthen the SS muscle and remind it how to move correctly, and I’m going back next Tuesday. It was pretty tender straight after but I think the arm is moving a little easier.
Thank you for asking 😊
