You keep mentioning the surveys. I've been with Prime for a couple of years, not doing things very regularly but have decided to just cash out as I've only got £26 in all that time. I suspect that you would likely get accepted for more surveys than me as I'm retired so likely have too many competing surveyors. I do live in retirement central!!!

But I've just done my second HMRC interview. It's a hour long Q&A with me looking at their website to see what appeals and what doesn't. (no I don't want to talk to AI, yes I do want to know their real person webchat hours). First one got me £60 and I'm expecting something similar this time. Best hourly wage I've ever made. I can't recall specifically signing up for it but whenever there's been a feedback possibility on any government webpage I've said I'd answer questions. I get an email every couple of months where they ask about 5 questions for no £. Just thought I'd mention it. Fun bit today was I spotted a spelling mistake in their examples which they quickly scrambled to correct!!

That's good news about colleague, not pleasant but thank goodness something they were able to identify and are dealing with. And you can have fun when he's back teasing him about flirting with all the nurses 😁

Well done keeping up with the exercises. I am still planning on doing your chair squats recommendation, I just haven't had a bit of body not be extra achey since it was discussed!

Pr1me is fairly terrible but if you do a 7 day run you get to lucky dip for a code for extra earnings on surveys for a week or a few extra points/pence in your balance so I try to do a short one daily in the hope of extra money.

That sounds very satisfying @Brie, do let us know if it ever emerges how you're getting these surveys 😁

Aaaand …. Today’s news is I sent the boss home ill! 🙄🤷‍♀️ Honestly, what are they like?! He did tell me at one point that I was becoming bossy - I pointed out that it was atypical for him to listen to me so he must be ill! 🙄 (He has a life long condition that when it flares up needs strict bed rest and ABs …)

Weights and squats done before work.
Work was a maelstrom - as above, plus various other dramas but I did manage to get the solenoid on the demin plant fixed, so at least that’s working again for minimal cost - a wire strip and reconnect rather than a £500 call out fee plus whatever was needed … 😊👏

Stopped off on the way home to offload CS stuff so that’s a ✅😊
One load of washing in the machine.
Paid the builders merchant bill for the skirting board used in the office / craft room ✅
Tried and failed to book Madam Chloe into Cattery in June - their landline seems to be down so sent a text to an old mobile number but no reply so far … However, I do at least have the dates straight in my head now, so it was worth making that much effort. 😊
Hour long call with new coach - after the call I tried going up and down our stairs for two minutes, had to give up after 1 minute 15 seconds! 😳😂 I think we can call that an effective exercise option! 😉

Got out in the garden for 10 minutes or so (in a big waterproof) to empty the unused litter tray of compost that Chloe is not using at night any more and the bag of compost that was sat in the conservatory to fill up said tray … Clearing that bag and some plant trays along with the CS drop off today has cleared some properly useful space, so I can shuffle stuff around to get the books moving now - happy with that. Also split some starter wood for the fire, so Mr KK happy with that and fed the birds 😊

Done grocery order, along with what is needed for new lemon and pulses soup I want to try this weekend for my next work soup 😊

    As at 17.04.26:
    - When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £216,847
    - OPs to mortgage = £18,925 Estd. interest saved = £9,670 to date
    c. 16 months reduction in term
Fixed rate 3.85% ends October 2030

    Read 31 books of target 52 in 2026 as @ 7th May.
