It is. CC paid off and I need to run numbers to see if I can top my savings up to my target EF level 😊
-Two loads of washing done, dried, and all put away 👏
-Dropped off a whole heap of random ‘stuff’ at the local hospice shop. Frees up a whole load of space in the conservatory.
-Library books changed and almost read a new novel <ahem … 😂>
-Food planning sorted and online shop plumbed in.
-Made a batch of veggie bolognese to align with the batch that Mr KK will make for himself tomorrow evening, might have bakers with that 🥔
-Spent another small chunk of time in the garden after the dinner, working on the space of the veggie patch where I want to put the leeks in. Cut everything down to the ground and then covered with three part bags of HM compost - it’s all ready now to plant tomorrow. 😊 watering last night did help soften the ground a a bit and the the foot tall plum tree came out easily! 😉💪KK

Phewsers … the forecast might say just 19C and light sun, but it is HOT here! 🥵
Mr KK’s bedding washed at 60C and now on the line, bleaching in the sun.
Toscos wrangled and put away. Still need hot dog rolls and beef mince - they skipped the rolls without an alternative and brought diced beef which can’t be used in a bolognese … 🙄
Mr KK digging out in front of the DIY shed to level it and lay slabs, which I am really pleased about as I keep nearly turning my ankle out there because of all the wonky levels etc. He’ll lay the last of the membrane I bought for going down the back of the veggie bed (we saved it) and use up the scrag end of a builder’s bag of gravel as the first layer, so the empty bag can go to the tip tomorrow 👏
Chloe is fascinated by what he’s doing and keeps coming back to the garden to supervise … 😉I have watered everywhere and dragged the hose back down to the bed I cleared over the past two days. Pots are laid out (sage, leeks and chickpea plants) - just have to get them in the ground now and then I can flop!

Plants are in the ground!! 😊👏
Had lunch with friend 😊❤️
I have been deliberately appreciative of little pockets of prettiness in my rather sad garden, as there are some and if I don’t appreciate them now they will be gone before I do …
Patio pots have done pretty well this year. The geranium in the middle is a scented leaved one.
Planting alongside the deck, I will add more spring bulbs to this and there are quite a few healthy foxgloves in here that will ‘do’ next spring as well 😊
Planting next to the mower garage. Bit random in terms of what’s in here as it was what I could find wherever … 😉
Pot on the patio - this is the random leftovers planting, but it’s worked really quite well. The small nicotiana are not heavily scented but have some scent late on in the ending, which is lovely after a hit day 😊
My east facing courtyard - this gives me so much pleasure, I feel cooler just stepping in here.

Lovely garden pictures
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
Loving the patio pots.
