  • I'm torn today, because my budget runs from 24th - 23rd of the month because of my pay date, but that makes everything else complicated. It means my spreadsheet doesn't make things easy.. Well, I suppose I could just do some maths.  :D

You have reminded me to count the 5p interest I made on my 52 week envelope challenge savings account!  o:)

Yay thank you, I managed to crack it and cashed out on £6.17, I’m really slacking on Prolific as have been busy working etc, so this is my first cash out this year, but I also click on ‘not interested’ with more surveys than ever.

This is such a massive total for me but January is a month where accounts mature I’m aware it must sound great, but it all started yeas ago with money that came through when my husband died far far, too young. I’ve still got an account that will mature on January 30 that will bring a chunk of interest.

I've lost track a little on a weekly total but I have sold my treadmill on FB (it was sat collecting dust) £210.00 and also some stuff on Vinted £32.00
Cashed in my points on Shop & Scan £50.

    January Total so far: £388.00

Even if I sell nothing else for the rest of January it would work out at £12.51 a day so very happy with this.

    £1.88 nectar points

Sorry been missing in action - life seems to have got so busy!!

    Some fantastic figures here :)

I've decided to reduce to £10 per day as £15 was stretching it. So far for last 4 weeks:

OH overtime £163, Prolific £21.88, Top Cashback £5.71, bank cashback and interest £31.94, supermarket discount codes etc £30, car insurance saving £40.

Total for 4 weeks £297.53 (now need to find out what we've done with this money 😂)

Some of the supermarket discount codes was for the Asda deal mentioned in the MSE weekly email this week.

    Make £10 a day 2026
    Week 13 - £42.50/£70
    April - £51.40/£140
    2026 - £1481.96/£3650 (41%)

    I’ve added £1819.41 from

    Savings interest

    EBay sales

    Nectar points

loose change found where not expected

    this is a total of

    £2989.56

    this is £103 a day.

I’ve been making a sale online most days as I tackle a shedload of decluttering.

It’s massive I know and I can’t possibly continue in this way. I’m finding actual self employed work very challenging amid difficult circumstances so am pleased to be clawing in these totals.
