Above the blank box where you type theres the bold, italic and line through symbols then 2 sets of bullet points, then the q symbol that brings up the hidden spaces etc, smilies, a chain (not sure what it does) then a square with a tiny wiggly line shape and a dot. That represents a photograph of mountains and the sunshine. Click it and you get to 'choose files'. That takes you into whatever device you are on's gallery. Click on a picture, on my device theres a 'done' button top right of my gallery screen yours should have something similar and clicking on it once you are indeed done should insert the picture or pictures into the box of text wherever your curser was when you go in to attach the picture. Then you can press 'post comment' as normal

My friend who has prime on the big river site had ordered a sippy cup so that is going to the charity shop along with a pill container which was unused.
I took a big bag of unwanted medications to the pharmacy yesterday. While there I got my flu jab - hadn't got round to it as was waiting for Mr F to be well so we would go along together. I have had no side effects unlike my friend's husband who had man flu the next day.
My daughter always gives Mr F a pot of Stilton for Christmas - it hadn't been opened - I gave it to the chap who had been running me to and from the hospital. We saw foxes on our way home from the hospital at night.
Each time I go to the airing cupboard - I see hospital gowns and blankets - they need to be taken back to the hospital.
I have written a list - not all do now things but future as well - list is at 67 with 7 done so far.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Good idea to take the medication back to pharmacy
just take one step at a time ,
can any of your children help you a little
hope the mri is clear xx21 -
LIke the others have said my thoughts are with you @Florenceem. Be kind to yourself and take it slowly. I remember when DH passed away there were some things I wanted gone asap but other things I was ok to take time over. The medical things went very quickly along with his jackets. Everytime I came across one of his coats I remembered that he liked buying coats and had far more than he needed! My daughter took them home with her and passed to a friend who helps at a scheme organising coat giveaway sessions for the homeless.
Still struggling with frogs but think I need an early night. I did some postal and online competitions tonight - not done them for ages. I had a pile of postcards that had been in frames at the old house but which had faded badly. I used these up along with the last of my Christmas stamps.

Hugs and condolences @Florenceem, lovely to see you back. X
@Willowtree222 that's amazing decluttering of books.
New carpet on stairs and landing look good, can't believe how long its taken me. I swept , hoovered and mopped hall so feet clean going on to the carpet..spotted some discounted slippers in m and s. Got them home to find 2 right feet? They were the only 2 and clipped together ! Meant to be no refunds but will try.
Lots of packaging from mattress out, box out and old slippers out. Now 40.19 -
I have put my water bottle in the bed so will go up soon.
My Dr daughter said - did I want her to come down but I said no. She has only just gone back to work after 4 months off with a frozen shoulder. She is off to Chile for 3 weeks soon so won't be around for the service.
My other local child dropped by to see me - the other 4 live away.
It is recycling day tomorrow but won't put cardboard out until the last minute and cover it up as soggy cardboard is no good.
I feel better when I keep busy.
I had started to crochet a king size bed cover but not worked on it this year.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Gentle (((hugs))) for you, @Florenceem. Deal with things in your own way and at your own speed - some days will be easier than others, for no obvious reason. On the less good days, I hope you have relatives and people in your church family who you can talk to, just as you have always been a sympathetic listener for others.
I managed to re-start the photo sorting today and am about to throw out the first of what I expect will be many standard shoeboxes full of unwanted prints - lots of landscapes and a fair number of unrecognisable people - whilst keeping back a pile for the second cull which so far is considerably less than an inch thick. The films I'm going through at present are of a period in my life 25-30 years ago which I have almost forgotten (deliberately, because it was when my first marriage broke down) but most of the pictures have brought back happy memories of kind friends as well as seeing my children graduate, move into their own homes and start their chosen careers. I honestly don't think I could have started decluttering these particular pictures any earlier, but it's good to look at them now.21 -
Lovely to have you back @Florenceem. Sending you virtual hugs, please take time for yourself xx
I was looking at my empty chocolate tubs and was wondering if I could recycle them in my council's recycling bin and found out that Greene King pubs are taking them between 1 Jan - 15 Feb. https://www.greeneking.co.uk/christmas/tub2pub

Thank you @Mrs_Salad_Dodger for the gold stars and medal! DD and DS2 are fighting slightly less, so hopefully we are on to a winner. I’m sure they’ll be happier when we get the rest of their things out of the container, especially for DS2 as it will be like having new things to play with. Hopefully DH can take a day off work in the next couple of weeks, so we can make a big dent in emptying it. We don’t get much done over the weekend as I work on a Saturday and if the weather is rubbish on the Sunday we can’t do it.
@tibawo , we got our loft boarded three months ago and it was £800, but a little bit was already boarded and we already have a suitable loft ladder in place. The cost was based on square footage.
Our main car went in for it’s MOT and service yesterday, all 4 tyres needed replacing to pass it’s MOT which was eye wateringly expensive. It also needs a new timing belt and a new water pump which will be another large chunk of money but not this month, it will have to wait at least until February as I only have £300 left in my car savings account and that won’t cover it. Whilst I have all three children in different schools this year, we are doing over 250 miles a week and often more, just on school runs, so I need a car that is reliable, so as painful as it is, it is money that had to be spent.
@Florenceem lovely to see you, you were much missed and I hope you are doing as well as you can. Be kind to yourself and try not to do too much, I know it’s hard to not do things when there seems so much to sort out. Fingers crossed for your MRI results. Thinking of you xxx
DS2 had a hospital appointment this afternoon, so with one less school run to do, I managed to drop 2.5 bags to the charity shop.
A new total of 37.5/208
Love to everyone xxx

Hi all, wash out day today both weather wise and decluttering wise. For some reason known only to the universe despite being tired I could not get to sleep last night, alternated between being too hot and cold. Eventually dropped off about 7.30 so have been like a wet dish rag all day. All I have done is sort out the kitchen, washing up etc and sorted a bag to put plastic pots and tubs in for friend who grows lots of plants. She sells them for water aid so the more the merrier as she has a large garden and 3 greenhouses 😁. The rest of the day I spent faffing about doing not much as I couldn't get my brain into gear at all. Post sorted and some money stuff, some ood food binned, stuff bought for OH that had not been eaten so had a conversation about not asking for stuff that was just going to sit in the fridge or cupboard until I threw it out grrrrr. Watched the footy on tv this evening determined to stay awake so hopefully I will sleep tonight 😁.
We have a leak in the new toilet 🤐. Doesn't look like a big one but I have sent a message to the builder so hoping he will get back to me soon. I can't see where it's coming from as these new toilets are all sort of closed in, can't see round the back at all.
@Mrs SD yes I find it odd the dentist is reluctant to sort the tooth. It may be that he thinks it will need a post rather than a crown and it might be more complicated than I think, or he might just be trying to save me money, not sure but I will have the conversation with him next week, just can't carry on like this. The cleaning rota was going ok until today 😂 when it went out of the window but I hope to get back on it tomorrow 😁
@TC77 no you are not alone, last night when I couldn't sleep all I could think about was clutter, not really like me but I suppose it gets to us all sometimes 😁. Feel free to moan or rant or whatever helps, we are all here to help each other as much as ourselves 😁.
@CRANKY40 lovely thing to knit for 😁. As @weenancyinAmerica said try the fashion on the ration thread, many sock knitters there who are very happy to help 😁. If I needed socks I would give it a go as some of them are really masterpieces 😁.
@Vulpix what a great charity, I am sure you will think of something to fundraise, how about selling something you have upcycled? Not right now obviously as you have more than enough to do sorting out the house but when you get time as it is something you like doing and I understand there are charity pages etc on the bay of e. Just a thought 😁
@Natty68 welcome back. Sorry to hear you have been unwell but pop in and post whenever the mood takes you😁, take care of yourself, hugs.
@lazycatmama welcome aboard 😁
@VickyV count however you want, whatever works for you 😁.
@Florenceem please take care of yourself, it is such a hard time and I know you are always keen to keep busy but if you need to just sit sometimes please do. Good luck with the mri, big hugs
@Willowtree222 it has taken me years to start to let go of books as well. I still have far too many but they are going slowly 😁. I do keep books I think I will read again and a few other types of books 😁
@daisy_1571 good idea to take photos, unfortunately my phone storage is pretty full, I need to find a way to store the photos and free up the space on my phone 😂. I will add that to my list of jobs 😂
@dND I know what you mean about doing the now day to day stuff. OH thinks I am obsessed with filling the bins 😂 but I just have to put that sweet wrapper in the recycling right now 😂. It does help though doesn't it.
@purplevamp thank you for the info about sweet tins, I have googled and there is one near enough to take it to so will get right on that as OH has a tendancy to keep them for justin 😁
Right time to get to bed.
Hugs to everyone who would like one
52 ood food grrr
