@CRANKY40 - Hi, you might want to go over to the Fashion on the Ration thread if you haven't already. They really know how to make socks including turning the heels over there.20

One tip for those who think they aren't getting on very fast and the place doesn't look different- go round today and take photos. You'll have something to compare if you take another set in a few weeks. Keep doing regularly and you'll see just how much progress a little and often approach does make 👍 especially when you compare today's photos to June or July

Evening all, I've got the heating on for a blast to warm the place up a bit.
Had B&L out 1hr 15mins for their last walk then had to nip out to walk 2 other dogs.
Been home for a bit cosy on the couch so plan out what I want to achieve in January.
Also small win for me. Nipped to Home Bargains to get dog food and they had a nice shiny new range of toys. Automatically picked a couple up then immediately thought NO and put them back.

Welcome back @Florenceem, we all missed you and there is a lot of love flowing your way from everyone on this thread. 💕
It's another of those days when I think I've not done anything but what I have done is the, now, day-to-day things and not leaving any bits of paper/packets around but getting them straight into the correct refuse bag for disposal. I do have a sink full of dishes though waiting for me to finish emptying the dishwasher and reload it. I timed my bulk cook of Thai green chicken curry, (9 portions it turned out), to when the dishwasher was already full. The eco cycle takes over 2 hours to run and then things still need a while to finish drying. I hate washing up by hand so only do those items that really can't go into the dishwasher plus the draining board was full of the last hand washing up I did earlier and was still draining/drying. My kitchen is at around 13C so things take a while to dry. 🤣 But I know that the sink will be sorted first thing tomorrow so I'm not stressing about it.
A bit more DIY was done today and tomorrow is another day as they say. In a just in case moment I brough in the small camping stove and light set I have. I'm hoping that the worst of the winds will miss me here in S Wales although the wind is building still. I hate high winds but thankfully I now have some very good earplugs so I should be able to sleep tonight. 😁
It's my refuse collection day tomorrow,(Friday) but due to the said winds I'm not putting anything out until the morning. I really hope no-one else does tonight as when the wind blows everyone else's rubbish seems to end up in my front garden. 😱
I hope everyone stays safe and warm tonight. DxxAiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade BudgetDECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN - 2023 🏅4*⭐️ : 2024 🏅💐2*⭐️ : 2025 ⭐⭐⭐🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅 : 2026 🏅🏅

I did declutter my microwave which broke a few days ago. I also put outside my printer - a friend took them to someone who strips them for wire I think. Anyway they have gone from the driveway - a scrap metal collector was meant to pick them up but didn't.
While I was in town yesterday - I popped into the opticians and asked for no more correspondence to Mr F and gave his glasses to their collection bin. They were on the table along with his hearing aid boxes and I couldn't cope with seeing them. I have to get the hearing aids to the audiology department at the hospital or I think the GP surgery will take them.
I put 2 ice cream containers and lids in recycling today.
I have decluttered a lot of weight with the recent stress - I am just over 9 stone
I didn't tell Mr F that I am on the 2 week cancer pathway - waiting for results of a mri.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@Florenceem keeping everything crossed for your MRI results. It must be very difficult seeing reminders of Mr F, my condolences.
@dND I'm in a similar part of the world to you and it's quite windy and pouring with rain. DD really wants snow but don't think it's going to happen.
Not much decluttering, just getting back into work routine and juggling everything again. Plus struggling with female monthly issues yet again, so have felt quite drained with pain and exhausted. Think it might be back to the Dr's, already had bloods (all normal range) and awaiting a scan. Hoping an early night will put me right and have some energy and motivation to get stuff done.
