Perhaps, although I'm not much of a red or pink girl.. more blue or turquoise :) I only have 3 colours anyway (plus 2 top coats). I am happy for them to take up space in there longer as for some reason I find them more pleasing in the winter when I'm at the gym. I will go another year at least and see if I use them. They aren't taking up much space right now, so not a major problem.
I am currently finishing the stack of food magazines I got from Buy Nothing and taking photos of the very odd pages I might actually make in my notes and then they can all go back onto Buy Nothing again.

Lots of papers gone - recycled, shredded, on scrap paper pile. A few things onto filing pile which will be sorted when I go through the filing cabinet in a week or so time.
More consumables uu.

@suzeesu2000 glad your DH is better.
Did quite abit with DB, some for tip, some recycling and some for shredding/burning. V old photos of people we don't know and letters which I consider personal. Have put family history stuff aside and went from 2 to 1 suitcase with the now empty suitcase for the tip - rusty 1960s. Not counting these as not entered my house.
I have brought home things and will count when some of these go out, some to family and want to contact my mum's friends daughter as we have things the may want if I track her down. Keeping some old chinese postcards, and a brass lizard which I think is very cute, only about 4 or so inches long, and a note book which I took old postcards and photos out to reuse - some disbelief from my brother that I will use :)
Did take DB an item for my niece, and 2 remote controls he may find useful and a hat so counting 4 and unsubscribing is 5

Vulpix I'm so sorry to hear about Fomo ❤️
We had a good trip up north yesterday, driving time was about 6.5 hours we did have a T and P break and swapped over. Walking today to stretch our legs and manage to forget the sun cream on my neck so I have a red V, thank goodness for aftersun! I have been told off!
This was the view as we sat and had fish and chips last night from the mobile chippy in the village, worth the 35min wait for.
I love living in our small market town but I do miss living closer to the sea and sandy beaches.

Sunday was another warm sunny day with a high of 27°C, low of 15°C & an E wind making it feel 1° cooler. I finally got around to washing the winter bedding & it is now drying on the whirligig. Another very lazy day apart from DH going to As*a on the motorbike to fill up with petrol & do a small top up shop of things I forgot to put on Friday’s list. He is off on an RBR trip to Cumbria leaving 06:30 Monday with an overnight stop & back Tuesday evening. DH & DSis had cheese burgers & oven chips for dinner whilst I had a salad. Wudupa

Mrs SD it was a tad blowy top of Blakey Ridge in the North Yorks Moors. And yes some singing of a certain song may have happened.

Ok, so I did a little experiment and wondered if I could open any drawer and just half the contents in that drawer. I did opt for random cables as who really cares about cables? I took everything out of a tiny drawer and put back the things I do/will use. This is what I ended up with:
- 4 sets of in ear headphones that are a mix of uncomfortable, old and a bit gross or simply not needed. I rarely use mine and have had them 10+ years now. I kept one spare as I find it difficult to find small enough ones (side rant, but all the tiny ones these days seem to be much larger - I am a tiny person with small ears and I can't fit them in and they hurt).
- 1 set of bluetooth wireless headphones DH donated to me, but honestly I never use them and I'll never remember to keep them charged for the very odd occasion I use headphones. I don't use them when travelling, I just read a book.
- 1 charger for an elderly tablet I was going to turn into a photo frame. Honestly I'm never going to do that and it's taunting me. I did look into it, but the tablet would have to stay plugged in, I would need to go through and update loads of photos and allocate the ones I want to it and do all the maintenance and upfront work. I just don't want to do that. I'm lazy and want something simple. If I love a photo that much I get them printed. I will also not keep the tablet because of this and also if one of ours were to fail, this one is so old it's of no use anyway as it is no longer supported (also another reason the photos were too hard to deal with).
- 1 headphone extension cable. No idea why, never used it and can't think of any time I would ever use it.
- 1 wire I have no idea what it is (will ask DH later in case he has a clue)
- 1 broken US travel adaptor
- 1 cable I can't see me using again, so will offer out to see if anyone wants one.
What's left?
- 1 worldwide travel adaptor, 1 US travel adaptor (I probably don't need two and it's a hangover from when me and or DH used to travel more to the US)
- 1 spare set of wired headphones in a little cloth bag
- 1 spare phone charging cable (ours are getting worse by the day)
- 1 bunch of cable heat shrink protectors we use to keep our dodgy phone cables going for as long as possible.
Drawer is now more than halved in volume and number of items.
I am sure it wouldn't have been that easy if say I opened a kitchen drawer etc, but just shows how much there still is to go despite having decluttered cables multiple times in the past few years. I know I've already done this drawer this year as I bought a small set of wooden drawers to hold this random stuff around the start of the year. Note that DH does have a secret box of cables and tech in his study as well that are all his, although he also did a big declutter of that recently.
I'll add the above to my online list and include these in the next decluttering list. Just thought someone might find it interesting in the decluttering world!
DS has seen me and even DH decluttering this weekend and decided he wants to join in. I counted up his bags of items and he was disappointed at the low total (1 pair of trousers takes up most the room!). Hopefully he won't be put off by that and will carry on this week.
