suzeesu2000 - poor hubby. Mr F never knocked himself out when he fell.
I had a visit from 3 grandchildren as J is off to London for rehearsals and then off to Japan to dance in the musical Chicago. He will be home again in 5 weeks while they ship everything to the next venue which I think is China. J hadn't seen the decorating - he liked the new stair carpet and yellow walls
A is going to do some work in her classroom next week so I emptied a set of rainbow drawers for her. I gave her lots of craft goodies too.
I managed to get a hair appointment so feel tidier now.
I thought I had better sort my credit cards out before I go away. I also paid J some money for the decorating he has done.
The contents of the rainbow drawers are in baskets in my hall. I will bag them up and store them in the baskets on top of my Ike. units.
I got a lovely video of my grandson F having a ride in a police car - they even put the siren on for him.
Decluttered - set of rainbow drawers, packs of pens, sequins, paper pads, stickers, packs of pencils, erasers, pillowslip, adhesive ribbons, Uu shampoo, 2 packs of engraving art, stencil, sheets of gems.

Hope hubby us ok Suzee. Very frightening.
I remembered the coffee pods and took them recycling. These and batteries are the ones I usually forget, but remembered them today so a huge bag went.

@Liverpool_Anne , what a good friend you are....and very busy, take care too.
Dd2 is happiest when I'm out and I've just dropped off another cs bag of stuff from her room. I asked if they take shin pads thinking of safety issues and they don't so will have to decide if freecylce or if the bank of things will take them. 3 make up items from me and 2 combs, paper and also textile recycling.
Draft saved from yesterday afternoon.
Item sold, packaged and posted.
Had help giving kitchen and bathroom deep clean which is great, and DD2 did more in her room with a pile on the landing of things she doesn't want in her room. Offering to put some in a box somewhere else in the house (plenty of room really but some of the things she may want to keep longer term).
This morning, cleared some of my things of the dining table and need to clear my desk so laptop and other papers can be moved from the table to desk🤣
Several plastic wallets out, some paper…and hopefully more later
Hope everyone can find some time to relax this weekend around work, caring and other responsibilities x
Decided to count some of DD2's things as taking credit for encouragement and taking to CS. There is another CS empty bag strategically outside her room. Rounding down to 20 so now 1281

Hi all, yesterday didn't go as planned but I did get some decluttering done 😁. Checked the weather forecast and saw that we are due rain today and tomorrow so decided to go to the bag wash to take advantage of the good weather to get everything line dried. So 2 LDFPA 😁.
While I was out the council bulky waste turned up and removed the gas cooker. I had completely forgotten that they were due but they obviously didn't need me as it's gone 😁. To counteract this win the neighbour who leaves me bits of wood for the log burner dropped a small pile off for me 😂.
2 things from the conservatory removed, a cardboard box and a plastic stand thing into the recycling / bin.
Then ln spotted me and told me she had spotted a bstd bramble heading towards her greenhouse so the conservatory was abandoned and I went bramble hunting in the undergrowth 😂. I have not had brambles in this location before so hadn't checked there but soon found it and removed it, then carried on and dragged out some more weeds etc filling a big bag for the green waste bin 😁.
The lr bin was emptied and just on tea time I got a phone call, another union thing landed so made a start on that but will have to do more today. I also need to go to the bank today to get some cash so will do that first and then see how the day developes 😁.
Right time for another cuppa and then get weaving 😁.
Hugs to everyone who would like one.
1106/2026.
Take care everyone

Suzeesu, Yikes! Hope all is ok now.
Mr V came downstairs for a short time yesterday and had to go back to bed as he had a massive cramp attack in his leg. He thinks he will be able to go to work on Sunday, I think he will regret it if he does. The bruising is much less and the infection sites are very slowly reducing.
DD1 came and worked from the dining room then went to see her Grandma. She helped me, lifting some heavy stuff in the garden and made a lovely lunch.
The bed and trundle were collected, DD1 took the bed side table for herself. She is going to have the old mattresses when we can take them in our bigger car. As I said, the new mattresses were delivered at 6:30 am. Very surprised that they are rolled in a very small box so storage is easier. I was worried that they had sent the wrong mattresses but no, they are pocket sprung ones.
I was feeling somewhat overwhelmed and a little bit sorry for myself last night. Just such a lot of things going on last week and much , much more physical exertion needed from me than usual. I went to bed early and am back to normal today. NOTHING on the agenda today. I plan to potter in the garden. Sadly no rain, but if you could pass some on after it's been to you Liverpool Anne that would be great.
I did read the thread last night, but I am sorry I was so tired I didn't take much in. Sending love to all.
Vx

I hope your husband is improving today @suzeesu2000
Take it easy today @vulpix
Why is it all my gardening jeans have a hole in the same place? It's not a decent place, so I think they will have to go unless I can find patches for them. Would they work? (I don't have a sewing machine).

@Mrs SD - Thank you for my medal 🤩. The kitchen company I'm using is "Dream Doors" and apparently is franchised across the UK. I think it's one of those cases where you have to make sure you check reviews for that branch. My local branch had good reviews. If they turn out to be good I'll let you know - I think I am not too far from you - just the other side of the River.
I've spent the last few days continuing working on the garden - I discovered that there is a pebbled area around the patio which I'd forgotten about and one underneath the apple tree - I spent hours pulling up the grass from that area yesterday. There's also a path from the patio area to the very back of the garden which I can't remember being there! 😂
I'm just doing a bit every day and plan to let the garden emerge before I think about any changes. I've been enjoying the process but I am covered in bruises, scratches and bites plus a sting near my elbow which I've had a reaction to - it's swollen, itchy sore and looks awful! Pharmacy gave me hydrocortisone and said to come back if it shows signs of infection.Declaring at 274 items for July - I have taken a few things out of the CS bag - a print and a book I decided not to part with and a t.shirt because I needed to do the gardening in yesterday. However - I did add a few things in the last few days one of which was the playhouse - so I'm happy with that!
I think next months challenge is to work on the garden and have less coming in than going out in the house.

Friday was another warm & sunny day with a high of 25°, low of 16°C (+1° due to NW wind) DH had intimated that he would be taking a walk to post letters/cards & pick up his meds however he ended up driving as it was too hot for walking 🥵 A lazy day for all 3 of us until the evening when I wrote a shopping list & DH & DSis went to MrS. We fended for ourselves with sandwiches. Wudupa
