Decluttered - yarn & stuffing in gnomes, doily x 4, Christmas jumper, 3 pairs of trousers, pair of pyjamas, paper bag, yarn, fabric pieces, roll neck jumper, plastic bag, 6 socks, bottle of hot sauce, pillow, polo shirt and a shirt.
I couldn't believe what came out of the bottom of the airing cupboard. Some going to charity shop and some to rags.
Today's challenge meal - used up the chicken goujons with chunky chips and mini carrots & petit pois.

@Deb4 Its miserable being unhappy at work. I hope you find something better to do soon. Big hugs.

i seem to have decluttered my cognitive function. It’s quite tiring being so forgetful and daft. I also don’t sleep much so i am not sure if its sleep deprivation or hormones. The HRT nurse has changed my prescription to help me sleep so I hope it will get better.
On a brighter note, i always keep Christmas cracker marbles in the kitchen drawer. I spotted them today and thought at least i haven’t lost my marbles. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Not quite a stomp around the cemetery but on a day trip to Southsea & Portsmouth we did track down a Great Uncle’s name on the Southsea War Memorial for 1943. He was our Dad’s uncle but we’re pretty sure that neither Dad (a Portsmouth rating) or our uncle being Fleet Air Arm knew their uncle was listed on the memorial as they would have mentioned it and visited at least once when they were in port.
Anyway he’s been found now, and his name dusted off.

Evening all. I managed to get some but not all the frogs done. My leg is definitely improved but still gets sore if I sit too long. Garden is so hard I can't dig it anyway. DGS4 came up for a while then we went down to his dads (DS2) for a nice Sunday dinner. He went out with his dad for the day yesterday and got back at midnight while his sister was having a shopping day with her mother spending her money from her birthday.
Usual long weekend chat with DD - she's abroad with work off and on several times in next two weeks. DS2 has tomorrow off for minor surgery so I'll need to take him to avoid needing a mortgage to park at the hospital. I hope to do some more paperwork in the morning.
@TC77 can I suggest, as someone who dealt with complaints in often complex and emotive circumstances, that you write down everything as it comes into your head that you want to say even if it starts off rambling and disorganised. Get it out of your head and written down so you don't forget it. Then perhaps the next day read it and work out how to best split it up into coherent sections. Cross off the bits as you use them and see what's left at the end. Leave it another day then reread and finalise. I hope you don't mind my suggestions.
Not done much decluttering really. Looks like i may be about to declutter my Apple magic keyboard as the battery is no longer holding the charge. It was nice to see family - swimming competition went well - they were placed in lower half but felt it was a useful experience. DD sent me details of an office chair she has purchased recently and recommends. The children take polite interest in family history mostly - GCs are probably more interested especially the oldest who is a classics student.
668 Various committee and meeting frogs munched up
669 Most July birthday cards written and ready to go Need one more for great nephew.
670 Some computer decluttering done
671 Answered some Family History emails.
672 Last of the 7 special offer joints I bought at Christmas to DS2 for Sunday dinner. Bought home a dinner portion for tomorrow.

I've managed to lose my sandals brought last summer but hardly worn due to my hip op. I've worn them once this year so they have to be somewhere, I've found the box! I did find the ones I don't want to wear where they should all be! 🙄
I took ten of my books into Petworth yesterday just some paperbacks. A couple of pairs I won't wear any more, too high now have gone into a new bag for charity. Whilst my dinner was cooking I sorted the cupboard under the kitchen sink and threw away six items. Not really my plan as I need to be sorting before they come to do the windows.
Not sure what I've done to my left shoulder, it started about a week ago and unfortunately plays up once I go to bed and is very painful. I'm wondering if it's because I've gained some weight back and carrying my large 'assets' is putting a strain on it. My sister is coming around next week and will help me clear the patio so the builders and window guys can put in my French doors. She will move a couple of heavy things upstairs for me as well.
Have a good week everyone.

Haven’t posted in a while and am a week behind reading the thread. Decluttering has been very slow but a few things ready to go out to tip, CS and book exchange. Back half of shed now tidy (the easy end) and will tackle the rest after next weekend.
Home is rather messy atm. Need to tidy kitchen ready for boiler service this week so that will be the priority, followed by a quick look through books as a few new ones have crept in and need to make space for them.

Decluttered almost 5000 questions. That is now complete.
I have been tidying and rearranging storage so that i can see exactly what I have in and can use it.
I descaled the kettle as I saw a packet when decluttering and went through all framers removing what I didn't need.
The general waste is due tomorrow so have filled that with things I don't need. It only happens every three weeks so I try to capitalise on getting things out the house.
I have freed up space in some of my areas by just moving the odd thing around. That is helpful as I can see what I have an use.it accordingly.
It will be slow using up things the next few months, but will eventually get there.
