I went out plus did all my jobs apart from sewing the mat corner.
I had a visit from daughter and granddaughter. So stopped the sewing I was doing - putting another gnome together.
Got back to the sewing and more family arrived - son, dil and 2 granddaughters.

Saturday is forecast to reach a high of 28°C, low of 16°C with a gusting W wind DH up at 08:15 to have a bath & I followed 08:45 (new water) Longer bath for me as I got out 09:25. Dried off & then dressed in my new skirt (which has pockets 🥳) & top - it looks lovely even if I say so myself 😉 The 3 of us are heading to Kent to see DH’s niece G (M’s younger sister) & will be visiting M’s flat to pick out a memento or two Plus go through M’s yarn supply. I can have my pick & the rest is being sorted into colours & bagged for the CS. We set off at 10:30 with DSis driving & had a fairly good trip & although it was warm there were a lot of dark clouds. We arrived at G’s at 12:00. By then the skies were clear & the temperature was climbing. We had a tour of the house as both the kitchen & bathroom had been renovated since we were last there. Then we sat out in the garden chatting to G & her husband E whilst he was barbecuing sausages for our hot dogs lunch. DH & DSis played with their 2 dogs. The garden is a sun trap so the temperature started rising & reached 29°C 🥵 After lunch G drove the 3 of us to M’s flat & we spent the next 1.75 hours sorting through many bags & many boxes of yarn, about 50 pairs of knitting needles & 2 large boxes of patterns. M could have opened her own shop 😉 I ended up with 2 full bags for life of yarn, a box of needles, 2 boxes of sewing equipment & an electric sewing machine + a frog ornament. DH found a few photos. The rest of the yarn, 3 full large storage boxes, 2 large boxes of patterns & all bar 6 pairs of needles is now ready for the CS. We got back to G’s house just before 17:00, had a cold drink & then DH drove us home as G & E had tickets to see Katie Hopkins. We had a lovely time with G, E & the dogs. Another good journey & we were indoors by 18:45. Cold meats buns for dinner. I have sorted out the boxes of sewing equipment & have condensed 3 boxes into one + a box containing knitting & crochet needles. I will sort out the yarn tomorrow.
1062 bag of detritus from the sorting - binned.
I will catch up with the cheerleading tomorrow. Sleep tight.

So counting 2 big jobs. Bushes and roses all trimmed back and finally top decking and step down cleaned. 2 counted on signature . Also when having a quick look through bathroom cupboard for a lost item, I discovered an oil that I bought on a cruise 8 years ago for my sciatica.whichj it didn't help with at all although the acupuncture did. 🙂. Anyway tried it on my shoulder and neck muscles and it is working wonders.

Went to Church this morning with my bestie. We watched the commissioning and ordination of candidates today as our meeting.
Bestie's husband has just been here with daughter E. E made a wonderful collage for me as a tribute to Mr F's love of recycling.
The words are what Mr F said to me on Christmas morning when he insisted upon going to Church.
It is in pride of place in the hall so the first thing you see when coming in the door.

I've been missing yet again but I have been busy decluttering.
I have managed to sell DS's old pram and got a £100 for it, sells on vinted and ebay have been going okay. I have been uploading as well.
Emails and photos have been deleted as my phone keeps saying it full.
I'm back at work now on my full hours, it hasn't been going very well, my manager last said "I need to buck my ideas up" and to stop looking miserable, I told them on Monday that I wasn't feeling good but they don't seem to care now I'm back.
I have signed up to two college courses that start in September which I am looking forward to, one is how to start a craft business and the other one is created crafts in which you use upcycle items.
Think that's everything for now
