Sorry Ive been AWOL I would like to say I have been busy behind the scenes but that would be lying! I've a date of the 14& 15 July for my new windows so will need to get organised before then to clear and make my back rooms respectable for workmen. I'm volunteering the next couple of days so the fun will start on Sunday (maybe).

1. Daily To Do List - written the night before
2. Sort out sleep patterns - initial targets: bed by 03:00, up by 10:30
3. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc.
4. Commence ‘Operation Financial Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
5. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
6. Plan & Execute ONE Major Project - 2026 New Bathroom
7. Target 2026 items out

Thursday was a gloriously sunny day with a cloudless blue sky. The forecast high was 26°C with a pleasant WNW breeze & a low of 17°C The temperatures are forecast to rise on Saturday & will fluctuate between 26° to 30° next week 🥵 .The HH waste wheelie bin was emptied this morning - just a day late 😊 but the recycling wheelie bin was not ☹️ DH & I dropped DSis off for her course & then went shopping. First stop the Card Factory then into MrS for lots of salad ingredients & ice lollies & ice creams. I also treated myself to a skirt & top in MrS. It was lovely being in an air-conditioned car rather than on the back of the bike 😉 When we got home I rearranged the fridge & managed to get everything in 😮‍💨  Dinner was salad followed by a Solero. I am leaving the wudupa until tomorrow 😉

Yorkie1, good advice for Florenceem 😊 I had also forgotten that windows in France open inwards so shutters are perfectly feasible & you can leave the windows open at the same time 😅

I had crumpets with thick cut orange jam this morning! Yuuum.

I finish work at 2pm today so be home half 2 depends on traffic as theyve decided to rip up half the roads on my main route to work 😂

• Finish tidying
• Put washing on and then on the line

The loft wasn't actually as bad as I thought it was. It was still a big task and at Christmas, I will reorganise those decorations, which will finish the job.

Garage is another story! Although most of the clutter wasn't mine and has gone. The skip will rid the garage of the rest.

Hi all,

I have been ploughing on with the conservatory between watching the footy😂. Lots of things have been cleared of dust and moved. I have found things I honestly don't know where they came from and have no memory off as well as other things that definitely belong to OH including 8, so far, car mats. I have spoken to OH about these and apparently OH only uses rubber mats now so they can all go 😁. I just wish that decision had been made before we stored them for years 😂. I found camping lamps and dead torches and a thing OH informs me is a solar powered insect dapper 😑. They are on their way to the tip. Canvas type shoes that have been bagged up for washing and put in OH's room and a duvet set I have never seen also bagged up for washing. The working camping lamp has been passed to a young neighbour who was very happy as she goes camping a lot and doesn't have a lamp so win win 😁. Lots of other stuff binned and a few things put in a carrier bag for OH to sift through. I have also bought and wrapped from stash 3 birthday presents. 1 has been posted with a card from stash and the other 2 will be delivered today 😁. Also decluttered some hair and 2 pairs of Sunday knicks consigned to the rag bag. Several rags binned after the continual removal of dust 😂. 3 candles uu from the stash found under the bed 😂. Small wins but it makes me happy 😁. Also a session of ironing which didn't make me happy but had to be done 😂. Several bags binned and a cardboard box but I have kept a useful sized box for now as it has a lid so can use it to store things ready for the next round of dust when the plasterers go to work 😂.

I am adding 32 to my numbers.

Sorry I am a bit behind with the posts due to being knackered by the time I get to bed after watching the footy 😁 so I will just say hugs to anybody who would like one.

Talking of solero - has anyone tried the new tubs of bon bons ? Delicious. Just enough to feel like you've had an ice cream but not as much as a lolly. Strawberry or the yellow - mango? Tropical? Whatever flavour, scrummy. Magnum do them too, a caramel and a black cherry. Both also nice. The tubs are those awkward shapes, tapered like a tub of scoop ice cream, but you can always decant them into a square box to save room

Off to volunteer at my new corps this morning - pop up fashion show - using charity shop clothes. I have the task of judging the winner - £10 voucher prize.

Just walked past people.movong from a small Georgian cottage in Greenwich 2 removal vans- can't think how many i would need and then the thought of unpacking every single item. - the thought requires a lie down.

Before going out i out 4 books/ booklets in cs bag and a cable in the dd1 pile for collection.

TC77 - my daughter lives in Greenwich near the little cottages. I too dread the thought of how much I would have to move with.

The fashion show was a success. We had 4 main models - lovely ladies. Clothes look so different when they are being worn. The ladies walked around the village to show off their outfits - several cars stopped to tell them they still had labels hanging from their clothes. They really entered into it - chose jewellery and handbags/hats. The ladies went into the hairdressers where they sold all the outfits. So they walked back and paid for them. Then they put on new outfits - one lady wore a man's jacket so went in the village barber's shop.

It was a lovely morning. I chose the winners.

We had free strawberries and punch. I was asked if the punch was alcoholic - I was sitting there in SA uniform!

The charity shop took £147 in 3 hours so a wonderful morning.

Home now with a lovely clock that came in this morning - I need to buy batteries to check it is working. It will look great in my hall.
