I too have been hoping to see florenceem back with us on the EDT. Please send my love to her and MrF along with all the rest, and I'll continue to hold them in my prayers.17 -
@Liverpool_Anne thank you, fingers crossed for a better 2026 too. I hope your B12 injection makes a difference.
@crazy_cat_lady thinking of you xxx
Thank you @daisy_1571 for the update, I've been wondering how Florenceem and Mr F have been doing. Please pass on my thoughts and wishes if you have the opportunity to do so.
@spikyhedgehog, I hope you don't have to wait too long for your appointment.
Since we’ve moved (same Council but different district) I’ve discovered that here the council will accept fabric recycling and have a special bag for it to go out with our recycling collection. So 8 bags of fabric recycling collected today, mainly from the children's wardrobe clear out.
On the local freebies site, another chest of drawers was collected today and a couple of packets of pull ups that we don’t use anymore, 4 bags in total.
A new total of 35/208

Our lovely florenceem has had mr f in and out of hospital and rehab last year but sadly he is now end of life care in hospital. Understandably she is devastated to be facing this for and with her wonderful mr f. I know many of you have been wondering how things have been going and she wanted you all to be updated.

Hi all,
Firstly thank you @daisy_1571 for passing on the very sad news about Mr F and please send big hugs to Florenceem. I know she will have support from her family and friends locally but if there is anything I can do to help please ask her to message me.
Today I was up early to chauffeur OH home from the garage and we posted the card to Australia. After not enough sleep last night I went back to bed for a couple of hours while OH borrowed my car to collect stuff from the accountant and pay the tax bill. The roads were pretty treacherous with only the main road being clear and all the rest icy and covered in frozen snow. OH decluttered a scrapper which broke when trying to clear the car windows, luckily I have another one in my car.
OH got home just as I had finished my nap.
1 LDFPA so another load washed and onto the maiden.
Suggested to OH that as so much had been sorted from the car boot yesterday it would be nice to sort a bit more, "shall I bring a bag into the lr for you to sort?" Worked a treat and 2 very big bags sorted. Lots of paper into the recycling and a black bin bag nearly full of rubbish. That did take OH all day but it is progress. Only 2 bags and a box left to sort 😁.
I found another bag of Christmas gifts that needed to have homes found. More toiletries 😂. So taken upstairs and as part of it was travel size stuff I finally hit on the idea of putting them in my travel toiletries bag. Brain was definitely not working at high speed today 😂. So the toiletries bag was sorted and the dregs of what was in there was put in the bathroom to be uu. I have realised that if I don't see it I forget it's there so the way to get these things uu is to have them front and centre in the bathroom 😂. The bathroom is looking a bit messy with them but I will sort that on bathroom day 😂.
General gubbins and carp from the top of the gas cupboard binned / recycled.
When the garage phoned chauffeured OH back to the garage, the roads were even worse but we are promised rain and warmer temps tomorrow so I am hoping it will be gone. I am hoping to visit friend M tomorrow but it is a bit of a drive, about an hour normally so I will have to leave early in case the roads are still bad so off to bed now 😁.
Hugs to everyone who would like one
34 bag of gifts put away
35 & 36 bags from the car boot, claiming as I organised OH to do it 😁
37 card posted
38 scrapper binned
39 top of gas cupboard cleared and cleaned
40 LDFPA
Take care everyone
