Brrrr. Had to put yesterday’s cardigan in laundry as I got a tiny pit of paint on the cuff, I washed it out straight away but it’s now in the wash. Today I got a thick T shirt out thinking it would be enough, oh how wrong I was. I washed it out but Was actually shivering after doing the chores this morning.
Decluttered half a loaf out the freezer for toast as that’s all I can eat today - having another usual tummy trouble day.
Finished painting little unit. Very pleased and colour is a perfect match.
Decided that I wanted to put something like Perspex on the top of the bedside drawers but don’t have any. I do however have the covers off a notepad I just finished. They are a thickish plastic and do the job superbly at no cost= win win.
Scanned and filed all paperwork that has come this week, now in the shredder bin.Friend brought back a beautiful bird decoration for another wall in the yard, very grateful.

Second interview of the week yesterday. Very interesting contrasting interview styles between people and organisations.
One of my colleagues had an interview the day before for one of the available roles I was interviewing today.
We had an excellent debrief yesterday afternoon.

Evening all xxx
It's been coldish here today and the jumpers are back out for a few days until the heatwave supposedly, middle of next week 🙄.
Crazy here as always with the usual HH bin decluttering & cleaning, 2 loads of washing pegged out on the washing lines and dried, HH wheelie bin decluttered and put back in it's rightful place, and a quick decluttered appointment at the Vet for babyface for her usual monthly free pamper 😂 followed with a crazy fruitloop run around in an open field for half an hour which she hasn't been able to do for several months, so someone is feeling much better 🤗. I sorted out some paperwork and printed up a few things this afternoon that I need to put in my files, so all up to date with that lot - hooray! I've also decluttered numerous emails in bulk and cleaned and updated my laptop, iPad, phone; and apps, so I've been on a tech roll 😂, and we even managed to clutter up on 20 minutes of much needed sun, sitting and relaxing; me with a mug of coffee, naturally, on the swing chair 🤗🤩.
I've just put all the clean washing away, cleaned the sink, and bleached the loo ready for bed once I've cluttered up on my last mug of delicious coffee 😂. Babyface has taken a fancy to one of her large mega comfy beds in the bedroom, so I have the whole bed to myself, at the moment 😆😅.
Someone just sent me this video and I can't stop laughing, so thought I would share it before I pop off…..
Pets Take Themselves to The Pet Shop - Talk about try before you buy! 😂🤣 Typical Daxie getting others to carry and push them around in a shopping trolly while they load it up with a bed, soft toys, and food 😂🤣 - Always the hound with a priority on finding the food first 😂🤣😅…..
Night night all, take care, & toodle pip for now xxxxxx

i seem to be doing ok with the frogs. Its years since we had the gravel on the drive topped up. I weeded it with the help of my husband who hoed to loosen the weeds. I got 4 tonnes of gravel delivered yesterday. I asked the driver to drive forward whilst tipping to see if he could spread it. He tried but as we both predicted it plopped out in a loose heap. I gave him a box of chocolates anyway because he tried. I decluttered a lot of energy moving it down the drive. I had forgotten how heavy gravel is. I guess i was probably 10 years younger last time I moved lots of gravel. I moved about 3 tonnes before I decided I had done enough for one day. Shouldn’t be too bad to do the last bit and i cleared enough to get the cars back on the driveway.
I also listed some door handles that i bought on eBay last year and i didn’t like them as much as i thought I would. Hopefully all 5 will go.

Wow 3 tonnes of gravel moved. That is amazing. Hope you can still move today! 🤣 The last ronne should be the easy bit now! I am in awe.

Morning all.
Green_hopeful - that was a lot of exhausting work.
Forgot to take my tablet until after my shower so made another pot of tea and carried on knitting,
I did 11000 + steps yesterday - fell asleep quickly.
Went back to sleep after the alarm.
Off to the charity shop with the shopping trolley full. Then home to do some housework before working in the large ROD.
Had some bad news this morning - my eldest son's ex mil died this morning. She was a lovely lady.

Friday was an overcast day with a forecast high of 13°C (feeling 4° colder due to a brisk NW wind) & a low of 6°C. DH & I were up early (for us 😉) as we had independently booked appointments with the dental hygienist for the same day. The receptionist had contacted DH & brought forward our appointments to 12:30 & 13:00 (from 14:00 & 14:30) We left the house 10:50 & got to the bus stop 30 seconds before the bus turned up. Only waited a minute for our DLR train & then 2 minutes for the Central Line tube to East Acton. We arrived at the dentist 12:15, DH went in first & then me. The air flow thingy stopped working so I had an ordinary clean but there was a silver lining as it saved me some money 😉 We went straight home - almost as lucky with the return journey but had to wait 10 minutes for the bus. Indoors by 15:00. We both then spent the afternoon napping 😅 Dinner was pork ribs in a BBQ sauce for DSis whilst DH & I had sea bass, boiled new potatoes & peas. Wudupa.
841 - 844 Kitchen recycling, 2 newspapers, drinks cans - recycled
845 Kitchen detritus - binned
Then spent the rest of the evening nodding on & off & taking several hours to watch a 90 minute programme. Went to bed without posting.

@ Green_hopeful - 3 tonnes of gravel moved 😮😯 Although I've only experienced that once and only once in my lifetime, I would be hospitalised if I even considered moving a kilo or two of heavy weight now.
@ Florenceem - I'm so very sorry to hear about your eldest son's ex Mil 😔. It's a really tough time for you at the moment, but you'll come through the storm 🤗 (((Hugs))). Good to hear that your managing to get some pain free sleep 🤗.
It's a mixed day weather wise here. One minute hot the next, cold with rain forecast for this afternoon. Throw in some sleet, snow, hailstones, and gail force winds, and it's all seasons in one 😂🤣.
Popping off to grab a mug of coffee and get on the swing chair with babyface in the sun while it's still out - Take care all, have a great day & ta-ta for now xxxxxx

Took donations to the charity shop. Came home and did some housework. I have already filled my shopping trolley ready for Monday.
I have the best bestie. Her husband just delivered a pot of HM shepherd's pie.
