TC77 - I made the decision to have no wall cupboards when I had the kitchen installed as it gives a more streamlined look (imho) I do have some cupboards in the utility end of the garage - again not wall ones.
I saw a book today - rather fruity language - Nobody Wants Your Sh.t - I thought about getting it but then I am adding to my house when the idea is to get stuff gone. I am on my third bag of donations for my friend's charity shop - she will collect from me.
Decluttered today - letters, 1938 Scout diary, receipt, drawing, stamps, kitchen pad, wipe, disposable gloves, butter wrappers, roll of cling film, postcards, driving licence and a 1938 letter & envelope.

Saturday: it rained early a.m. (i.e. before I went to bed) but is currently dry although overcast with a forecast high of 11°C (feeling 2° colder due to ENE wind) & a low of 7°C Our lovely postman, who had left a card about a missed delivery with re-delivery on Monday, has just delivered the parcel (12:40) 😊 I had a lovely long chat with neighbour J. It is his 60th birthday this year & his mum’s 90th in the same month. He thinks he should celebrate somehow but doesn’t want a party. This led onto a discussion about visiting an exhibition & having a posh cream tea. I suggested the Bayeux Tapestry & J advised he already has that pencilled in for later in the year 😊 I waxed lyrical as DH & I saw it in Bayeux many years ago & thought it was wonderful 🤩 …… I forgot to take anything out of the freezer for dinner so we had a Chinese delivered. DSis & I watched last week’s BGT. Wudupa.

Floss, you have certainly embraced technology 😊
vulpix, you & MrV have certainly been busy 🤩 I see that I was correct & that you got a lot tidied away & a large number of items decluttered 👏 I did have a feeling that you wouldn’t be able to live with the ‘custard’ walls 😉 Have you decided on a colour? I am pretty sure that the kitchen won’t be messy for long ☺️
Great work deleting emails Deni_debt-free_dreamer 👏 Keep up the good work 😊
YoungBlueEyes, JackieO (aka London_1 for those who don’t know) is enjoying life on the IoW & is so busy that she usually only posts every couple of weeks 😊
Excellent & eclectic decluttering Liverpool_Anne 👏 I have been enjoying the conversation about sharing bins & it is lovely to hear that you & ln share the cost of the green waste bin thereby each saving some money ☺️ Hope you enjoy the makers market 🤞
Florenceem, I was quite aghast to hear This “I have clambered up on the sink to clean the kitchen windows ……” 😱 although you were obviously careful 😮💨 Well down on cleaning the cooker front 👏 & good luck with the hob 🍀
florianatwobob, I will pop round later for some rhubarb crumble 😉 I perfectly understand - it shows that you at least tried to clean the oven but realised that you need the professionals ☺️ so not bonkers at all 😉
Lovely to see you regnbue 👋 You have certainly been through the mill 😔 so I am really pleased to hear that you are better 🥹 Sorry to hear that your holiday has been cancelled & that you will miss out on koala cuddles 🥺

@@Florenceem as well as a J to help a garage would be good. I have no loft or garage so everything is in the house.
Dd1 said a couple of years ago that she would call in we buy any s***.common deal with things and another time that my collections could be taken with me like the pharaohs :)
Trying to organise the kitchen and dining room so they don't look so messy so easily!

Been chipping away at papers and nudging the 6 part frog along. Waiting for someone to reply to an email and have sent a reminder - it will move things along a lot if they reply soon.
Had to buy a new dress for an event. It is lovely and I will get good use from it going forward. Wasn’t planning to buy anything new atm but never mind - it was well worth it as I had a lovely time.

Morning all. Not much to report but catching up and checking in. DGS4 (almost 11) decided to clutter himself to my house yesterday and overnight so I scrabbled around to find food as he has hollow legs. We had a nice cooked tea yesterday and he is now tucking in to bacon sandwiches and a bowl of fruit. He was also checking out whether his dad is cooking a Sunday dinner for later. Long chat with DD this morning and she and Son IL are coming next weekend just for one day and night and then I am going down to Sis Il on Sunday pm. They will help me clear stuff for plasterers as DS2 has injured his shoulder and trying to rest it. It is dreary and drizzly this morning but I did manage to do some tidying in the garden yesterday. Greenhouse emptied out and hosed down and I have put some new grow bags, staging and a metal table in there ready for this years plants. Some general weeding and tidying done as well. Bed put up for sale from DGS4's room. Electrician coming Tuesday then plasterer and joiner the following Monday while I am away.
My US Sis and niece are in Philadelphia for a short break and took time to view the Declaration of Independence at this insane time. I hunted for instructions for bed I am selling but only found a receipt plus one redundant set of instructions for something else that can go. Microwave paint is peeling on inside under the plate but guarantee doesn't seem to cover the cabinet itself. Only 15 months old. DiL has changed our July holiday from Cyprus to Crete.
274 Bag of plastics to SM
275 Greenhouse cleaned out, general tat binned, pots emptied etc
276 Weeding to recycling
277 Spare unopened blue inhaler to DS2 - we are hopeful DGS4's asthma is easing off as he is not needing it and they go out of date - hay fever time will be the test. They use the same blue inhaler but different preventative ones.
278 Redundant instructions to recycling
I need some shopping but guess I may have to take DGS4 with me which could be expensive.
