So sorry that things have been so tough for you. The others are correct and the money you have already paid to your sister should absolutely be deducted from the amount left to her in the will. You are not a charity. Hope you can get the mortgage sorted out. 🤗

Ok went to the dentist. Am in agony. Different agony than the toothache.

Watching a weird documentary about a woman who murdered her parents.

Absolute terrible woman. Truly. Also totally bonkers.

Am going to attempt a sandwich, so I can take more pain killers.

    ugh.

    Nevertheless she persisted.

Ate and took more pain killers so feel better.

Today has been a lot. I am normally terrified of the dentist and don't go. But I went today mainly because the pain was so frightening and constant. Pain is motivating. I think also post the gall stones discovery the pain and the dear of dentist has lessened.

I know what is happening with my sister isn't great. There is a chance she won't pay me back. The thing is it is how it has always been. She has always been unlucky with money and Mum and Dad always bailed her out. If you have read my many previous diaries you know I have got out of debt myself several times. I never could ask Mum and Dad for help the way she could as she always got there first and Mum and Dad had limited means. I grew up knowing this. Once all this is done she won't be able to have any more money from me. I just hope she does pay me back. She might do. But I can manage with out it.

    Nevertheless she persisted.

Just One thing, why the six month wait?

I'd expect the assent and mortgage to complete simultaneously.

You only need a six month wait if you mortgage following the acquisition of the property and even then some.lenders have dropped this.

AAnd Yes; receipts going forward that this is an advance on monies due from the estate.

Much sympathy. Im sat with a teacher friend whose just coming round now after the term.

My financial advisor thought so too, but Natwest aren't having it, plus the mortage is mostly complete. BUT my solicitor didn't think it would be that long. I just think in terms of worse case scenarios.

    Nevertheless she persisted.

I would stop supporting the sister financially - its detrimental to your own situation ……………..unless there is a way of ensuring that you are reimbursed.

I am assuming the house is subject to an estate of which she benefits , can the money be deducted from her estate?

    Hello

I am hopeful there will be a way but not sure. I can't argue with her as she is right I forgot the one thing and now things are held up.

I haven't been very good at updating mainly because things have been relentlessly crap. I have to take my lovely boy to the vets to say good bye. It was after a week of illness - he was insured so he was hospitalised and just horrendous and painful all round. My little girl puppy is okay I think. I am not. I don't like anything at the moment. It is so difficult to plan anything without everything being settled and there seems little point.

I was ill at work a couple of weeks ago too, which was scary. And again today which is why I am posting here in the middle of the day. I decided not to ride it out at work like before. They don't think I am any good or any use! That day at work was horrible. It has calmed down now but I want to speak to the doctor.

Also the heatwave was dreadful - it seemed to make my symptoms worse. And work continues to be insane and stupidly stressful.

The house is worse than ever. I am either exhausted, ill, resentful or don't see the point.

In money news, although my boy was insured it resulted in a hefty bill as he was older. Also my car needed a service and so I am now in more debt.

I am 12000 pounds in debt with 3000 savings (mainly to cover my sister and her needs) I haven't been well either so my spending has been a bit wild, It is now on one loan that I can repay instead of CC and Bank loan. I am going to over pay as much as possible but it isn't a great situation. And mostly am just going through the motions.

    Nevertheless she persisted.
