Morning all,
My gosh the wind turned from very very windy with fence posts rattling and hearing it whooshing past windows to the biggest raindrops from no where which battered our windows and honestly DP and I just looked at each other like wth then the wind started up and I honestly thought to myself @Humdinger1 this is biblical 😳 I had to put ear plugs in to go to sleep!
Thank you, @Bargainhunter30 @beanielou @skint_spice @Bananabreadyum @daisy_1571 I woke up to a message this morning as I sent him a longer one after he responded, he didn't initially respond so I switched phone off for another early night, and this morning I had a response and at the end, thanks for the invite, speak to you soon and I love you ❤️❤️ a little late but that's the best birthday present from him ever so far 😍 aside from one time when he went out and bought me a fleecy jumper for wearing in the house as I was always cold (and he'd asked me what jobs he could do for money for months to pay for it ❤️).
Work today even though it feels like Saturday. If it doesn't feel like a work day I don't think we should have to go in. A movement should be started on that. I'll be right behind them, after I've had a lay in. 🤣

This is such beautiful news for a Friday morning. Your patience has been amazing, and what a lovely message from him 😍

Really happy you've had such a positive response from DS. I also agree that you shouldn't have to work if it feels like a non work day lol

Wonderful - I think many of us are delighted with that message
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5 -
Thank you all 🥰 @ladybird1106 @jwil @Lauraebrad @beanielou @Newstartforme @MeandO @slm6002 @Watty1 I'm still really happy, and although he was a pain during puberty, his brother was too and has come out the other side. When I was little I remember saying I wanted three girls like my mum and I think it was a premonition of how bloody awful boys are through puberty 🙈! DD was a saint in comparison.
Work is done for the week 🤗❤️!
We went to give notice and umm, the building was boarded up. 🤔😳 DP was running a bit later than me so I called him, 'what's the address on the email?' I said...'i dunno'. Hmm. So I g00gle it. It's only gone and closed down since I last went to a wedding there (which, tbf, was a few years ago) and new office is like 15 minutes away 😳 we have 9 minutes at this point to get there. We walked VERY fast. Turned up only a couple of minutes late and turned out they were running late too so we were ok. Got into the appointment, any questions they ask? DP says yes can you check my ID I'm unsure if I have the right bit of paper. He doesn't have the right bit of paper it turns out so he couldn't do it. 🙈 Ugh! Anyway she managed to do my half so I don't need to leave work early again to do this. And he can just do his half later on when he gets the right bit of ID. What an afternoon 🙈.
Newbie was being her usual weird self and kept getting involved in other people's conversations. I was cringing on the inside for her. People would be talking and she'd just join in. She's done it to me loads but I thought it's because she wanted to hear whatever I'm talking about so she could learn, but no, she's doing it to everyone around us. 🙈 She was late out to appointments so instead of spending an hour or two out she'd only spend half hour...and yet her calendar says 2-3 hours. Honestly she's taking the P.
DD wants to go to the gym and I said I'd join her, I'm feeling a little better. I said I'd do one round of my usual things instead of two. And I would go to the sauna for the majority as I'm missing that. Feels like that's my therapy throughout the week and I've just not felt well enough to do it for weeks. Weird though, there is a bug going round work and I think it's what I've been feeling, exhausted and nauseous and headaches. I've been feeling this way in waves all week, and today those have passed but now I have a scratchy sore throat. Gotta love working around students all day long eh.
I've just had an appointment through for the hospital. Not the ones that were cancelled but an ECG for 24 hours. I would seriously love to know what happened to the hearing test I requested so long ago. I really struggle some days with hearing and would just like the frighing test done. Ugh. Oh and DP has put me on his private healthcare - I will see what's on there I can make use of soon maybe I can do some of the things I've been waiting ages for via that.
Right need to get ready for the gym so we can go early whilst I have a tad of energy. Not sure what to do for dinner, maybe some tofu, maybe a takeaway 🙈😆. We'll see ....
