That’s very disappointing. At least she’s on a temporary contract.

There may be more going on behind the scenes than meets the eye. Frustrating but this meeting may be a necessary part of a process...

Morning all,
It was frustrating and really disappointing to be honest but she is at least on an action plan and has to prove where she is and what she's doing...there is still some scope to fib though in my opinion unless they double check with who she's meeting with each day. (Unsure if I added she was on this yesterday - I found it out yesterday afternoon?! My brain is like a sieve this last few months so if I didn't add it they are doing something).
I'm starting relatively late for me today, 8:30 which is a nice change on the back end of the week. And I'm finishing at 4! This feels like an old job work day. I'm also out and about for the majority of it so hopefully it will fly by!
We should hear back from the jewellers about my ring soon as it's coming up to the two point Mark where I sent it in. Can't wait to see what they come back with as a template for the new ring.
I've just cashed out £30 from pr0lific which is a nice sum, not had a big one like that in a while. When it arrives I'll send it to the yearly bills pot to build that back up after I raided it.
DP hates gardening but he seems keen to help me out there as we're having our wedding party here afterwards (and his mum and dad are keen gardeners so he'll want to impress 😆 so I'll use that keenness to my advantage).
Right best go get ready for work.

Tbh, if she’s on an action plan they only need one or two examples of where she hasn’t delivered or has lied about she is / what she’s done and they they can act to remove her. Sounds like big boss came in and laid down the parameters of the role for everyone (fair conduct) and then your boss talked her through where she wasn’t delivering and then put her on the action plan. Hence the mega strop. That action plan just needs following through. She’ll be going soon …
Yaay for the rings and the pr0lific pay out 👏😊 The idea of non-gardener DP being motivated to help because you’re going to be hosting your wedding party in your garden is kind of lovely ❤️
Hope you enjoy your ‘short’ day 😊

Oh well that sounds positive KK! That should take till the end of the week for that to happen 😆.
I'm parked up and sat enjoying the warm car. It's turned cold out again. This week has been crazy, warm one day, freezing the next and the weather apps are never right. So I end up bringing all sorts of bits from the wardrobe to keep me warm or cool depending on the day- and this time it's nothing to do with hot flushes 😆🤣.
According to my Fitbit I had a good night sleep but I feel super tired so I'm not convinced. It also said I got up at 6..my alarm was on at 6:30 today and trust me I was fast asleep and it went off twice before I heard it 🤣. Not convinced it's very accurate for last night. I'll sit here and enjoy the peace I think until I really need to leave to make it in on time, I'm in desperate need of some quiet alone peaceful time to just sit quietly and 'be'. I don't do enough of this.
The compression socks are on again today. They've helped enormously with swelling and oddly my foot has had NO pain...can foot pain be caused by swelling? 🤔🫤 I'm also feeling less tired at the end of the day but unsure if it's directly as a result of wearing these, could be just coincidence.

Just caught up. Disappointed about yesterday - I feel invested in the outcome. Am hoping monitoring continues.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -

Afternoon all!
@beanielou I had a horrible feeling then it was Wednesday again 🤣 and I'd have to do Thursday all over.
So I put another statement in today, newbie was on top form this morning. Super flipping rude to poor lady next to me..I had to bite my tongue. I waited for her to leave for her meeting and made sure nice lady was ok then went off to my meeting. Thought about it several times on the way there and back and sat in my car to write yet another statement of facts about what's been happening. Turns out tutor has been doing the same all along and after I spoke to the lovely lady next to me about it she also did one. I said to her, I understand we are making allowances for those who struggle with learning and processing jaaaaaysus Chrissst it is our day job - HOWEVER lovely lady do we put up with them speaking to us so bluntly and rudely? No is the answer to that we say, let's think about our tone and language please. So she put her statement in too after a little pep talk. It IS being escalated to a meeting now. Next week. Very firm action plan. They're on at her to do her calendar continually as she keeps fibbing about where she is..she used her meltdowns as a way to control the room and people and I'm done with it. I am about ready to say something now so gawd help her the next time she goes off on one..I've had it now. The last straw has been placed on the camel's back, tis broken now, I will be saying something next time. I didn't leave the room today, like I usually do, because honestly I was worried the meltdown was escalating to the point where she might hurt herself or someone around her whilst she's flipping out. But after she left I had palpitations and heart was going mental from stress. 🤦🏻♀️😡
Anyway, short day tomorrow and I am on my weekend from 2pm tomorrow. Not a NSD I broke and bought a snack out and about. Felt like I had a huge adrenaline crash this afternoon and felt really weird and like I needed some food. Just a small bag of crisps to keep me going but a pound spent nonetheless.
Pizza for dinner tonight as I'm so stressed I want comfort food. All from freezer though so won't cost any more money.
Is anyone else dealing with gale force winds today? It's awful here! I've been blown from one place to the other today!

Yes, I would say foot pain could be caused by swelling as it could be compressing the nerves, or restricting movement of tendons etc. but I’m not quack so take that with a pinch of salt! 😉
Well done to you and lovely lady for making the statements. Your boss needs the evidence. And very well done for staying in the swirling tsunami of drama in case you were needed, that was brave and kind of you x
