I'm another one who has done Paris via coach and via Eurostar, admittedly many years ago, but both were ok. I am going to Paris via Eurostar in the summer so I will be reading about your trip with great interest.

That’s really good on the fitness stats shift 😊 And you are right to pace the increase not just leap at it.

Re going out in the garden when it’s cold - have you considered a thermal layer on your legs? I wear that in winter and it makes a huge difference to me and how well and how long I can work out there.

Not long until your holiday, DFW321! Keep your eyes on that prize and work time will hopefully whizz by, I know what you mean about feeling too tired to travel, but I’m sure you’ll feel differently once work is out of the way.

Nice to have tea on the table for you too! I would love that even for just one day, although I don’t technically leave the house for work these days so have no excuse!

    Lots of love x
