Mine feel it needs supervision…

Evening all,
Today was a really long day and work was a bit tenuous at points with some issues cropping up at the last moment. I made it through the day though and have collapsed in a heap on the sofa. My next plan is to move upstairs to shower, then move up the next set of stairs to my bedroom and stay there for the evening and chill. I'm done in. And it's only Tuesday 🙈
NSD though so that was good - I nearly gave in several times today but didn't.
Need to order food shopping for Saturday otherwise we'll be doing battle with traffic and car parks and people I've had enough of all of those.
DD is loving the new reception room we created up in DS old room. She's squirrelled herself away in there since its completion. 🤣 And I think her room is way warmer than our one down here as it's so small compared to the reception room downstairs so much easier to heat up!
Okay I can hear the shower switching off, must be my turn!

Morning all,
I didn't realise how anxious my new colleague was making me- I've spent all night dreaming about it 🤦🏻♀️ at least I slept though as it could have been worse I could have laid awake all night thinking about it 🤣. I'll see her today and we'll see if anything has changed (namely her personality). The tutor said she was completely different in interview and wasn't sure if it was nerves now or a façade in the interview but she's not the same person she presented to them. I'm glad it's not just me having doubts.
I'm getting lunch in work today I'm too tired to be bothered going down and making something. Was in bed by 8 last night 😅 but I did watch a movie on my laptop which was a nice wind down actually, but I'm pretty tired now.
Right best go get dressed and start my Wednesday. At least it's hump day eh!

I think you should be utterly professional with colleague but beyond that ‘don’t let them in’. You’ve tried hard enough for long enough.
I once recruited someone who presented completely differently at interview than in reality. Getting rid of him was a PITA and then a HUGE relief! 😉KK

Hopefully she’s on probation DFW and they can get rid of her easily. Or she’s just go if she doesn’t like it. It’s a pity she’s wasting everyone’s time at the moment taking a role she doesn’t want and isn’t doing.

Fingers crossed it is a trial period and her performance can be chatted about or her sent on her way.
It is so hard working with someone who is 'difficult'
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!6 -
Evening all, I got my NSD as I got down to the kitchen and DP had made me some quinoa and salad to take in 🥰. Colleague was in before me today, wonders will never cease huh! I appeared to be late to a meeting I didn't know about so I will double check this but I wonder if actually I walked in on a meeting with new colleague and tutor and manager 🤔 as they were just wrapping up as I turned up.
Anyway a list was made for us to work through and on my list was about 9 jobs for the day (some were long tedious ones requiring me to spend long amounts of time with each student) on new ladies....3. 🤔 three jobs to my nine. We were there the same amount of time together all day. Anyway. She fluffed a very easy one up and tutor was pretty annoyed 🙃 I ended up doing that one too 🙈. Tomorrow I've booked lots of things in so I don't need to sit in the classroom all day. Tutor can have just one of us. And it's not going to be me. Friday I've only one thing booked at the moment but I'll try to get a few more...this way if I'm busy at meetings then I won't have to see new lady three days a week only on a Wednesday will she be there.
She switched the lights off once today. I complained very loudly, student agreed we couldn't work there as too dark and five minutes later she had switched them back on again and they stayed on. I've barely spoken to her, let her lead the conversation today and as a result we've exchanged about 20 words 🤷🏻♀️🫠.
DP did the shopping online. After half hour of him adding stuff, I said what dinners did you put in? Dinners? None! I've just added stuff I knew we needed - coffee, biscuits, milk 🤦🏻♀️🤣.
I'm still really struggling with my energy and I can't see it getting any better ☹️ even with 9pm bedtimes it's not helping. Don't know what else to do.
