Also I've ordered a robot vac. After I was sent some to look at from someone on here I've had one in my basket for two months 🤣 it went on sale so I put It back in my basket. Although I didn't end up getting that exact one I got one similar and it arrives tomorrow. Someone take my bank card away now I've spent too much today. It's a good job my wage was surplus this month to the bills and groceries as otherwise I'd be looking at a big cc bill 🙈 there will still be a few hundred going towards OP and savings but not as much as there was when I woke up this morning 🤣🙈.
Oh.... and bought a rice cooker in that shop earlier (reduced to £14 and it's a large one) we used it for dinner and it was fab so easy to use and clean so I'm hoping DP can use it and cook rice and same for DD so they can help me in the kitchen with dinners ....I'm trying with many of my purchases today to make life a little easier for myself going forward. And I thought I don't have a cleaner but honestly could do with one right now so I've been easier on myself putting DW on twice a day sometimes, and buying the robot vac and buying little things to make life easier to clean the home. I'll report back next month if it was all worth it 🙈🤣.

Morning all, I've done my meditation for the morning, I've had breakfast and added one new supplement in (adding one at a time is super helpful so I can see if it reacts/ does help/ doesn't help and if so I can keep taking/.stop taking as needed).
I'm going to frame some calendar pictures I bought yesterday, the calendar was £1 reduced and the frames £5.99 each - these are the decorations for the new room being decorated so nice and cheap and cheerful.
DD is off to the opticians in a bit with DP she wanted him to go instead of me as my children find it embarrassing when I stand up to bad customer service for some bizarre reason (remember the opticians who refused to see her when she had actually booked an appointment in because she's struggling to see- they said no we're not seeing you). I've never shouted or lost my temper to the point I've been chucked out and yet they find standing up for yourself bad. And yet, as ds1 has gotten older and received bad customer service at places the first person he comes to is me for advice 🤔. I find it disheartening that my children don't see it as a positive thing I'm trying to show them how to be independent, stand up for your rights etc. but then I also know ex and what he says about it all, he literally tells my children I am mental. So as a result DD chose DP to go with her. - I'd have given anything as a kid to have a parent stand up for me at any given time but never mind. I'm not going to focus on that.
Instead I'm going to iron, have a quick tidy around and today is my chill day. Anyone else noticed the new update, as you are typing it will randomly move the spacer where you are typing to a middle of a word as it runs out of space 🤔 or is it just mine? I go through the website rather than the app.
Dinner - hmm I'll have a look, we have a fridge full so I'll find something to eat. I'll also prep something easy to eat cold for lunch tomorrow as I'm out most of the day with work. Should only need to go into the office for a couple of hours tops. Work doesn't feel so much like work when I'm out and about and not chained to a desk.
NSD today - I've spent a lot this weekend already. However none on cc and the stuff I ordered from R0man I am returning two bits which equalled half the cost so only £40 I need to pay so I will pay that once the refund has gone through, meaning I don't need that on a pay in three any more. 🙂 I've got some nice clothes to wear for work and take to Paris with me now so I'm looking forward to wearing them all.

I also embarrass my children if I complain, but as they have gotten older they have realised why I do it and have come to me for help complaining themselves. Like you my XH also thinks I am crazy, but which one of us is living the better life having stood up for what is best for us? I love the fact your DD gets on well enough with your DP that she asks him to go with her

Morning @debtfreewannabe321 just caught up on your diary. Glad the job is going well, shame about the other person your working with. The fighting over lights can feel petty but pretty rubbish when your trying to concentrate. Extra cash this month is a def win!

Last wash of the weekend is on, and I have saved myself a tonne of ironing by hanging all dresses, jumpers and shirts straight from the WM and pulling them into shape. Only a couple need a light going over now. Also saved on TD costs. 👏🏻 I hung them in the dressing room with window open and heating on so they didn't take more than an hour or so to almost fully dry 🙂!
@slm6002 I thought it was lovely she asked him actually so I left the whole speech of, you have to learn to stand up for yourself blha blah blah, as let's face it between us all we spend several hundred pounds in there every year. So why shouldn't we say something?! But yeh, I left it as DP took her and he said to me he'd have a moan too 🤣🙂 however management wasn't in and is off until weds...no wonder their service has gone downhill since lockdown. They used to be great in there until the regular opticians left and they constantly have locum ones in (are they called that like drs?)
@daisy_1571 I'm glad it's not just me I have to go back and re-read it all to make sure it didn't chop up sentences and words 🤣.
Thanks @Queen_of_the_Hive , it is super petty which stressed me out all the more because I wouldn't have an issue saying something over a big matter but lights?? It felt a little like she was trying to control the situation continuously and when I said no eventually she did strop off like one of my kids would have done at 5 years old with a pouty face 🤣🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️.
DP is upstairs painting the bits that need touching up in the room, I'm then looking forward to shifting some furniture about and creating better energy flow in my front room and making that room usable again. It has remained closed off like a shrine to DS2 since he left and I need to shift that sad energy out of there. Odd how I decided to do something about it the other day and then he messaged me on the very same day 🤔☺️.
I've ironed the table cloth and am looking forward to the new robot vac coming, feel like we need a name for him. My new slave cleaner 🤪😁 taking over the job I hate the most. I'll get DP to map the rooms with it and then set it on its way if it arrives early enough.

The revamp of DS2 room is done! We went slightly off plan so we could get it done in a hurry. No picture rail yet or coving but we can add those when we have more time. It's painted a neutral green, so unisex, and we've moved a sofa up there and the TV from DD room. As well as a big cupboard out of the garage 👏🏻 so lots of lifting today, up the stairs, definitely didn't need the gym. 🤣. It looks lovely and all the accessories are pink lol for DD. Neither of the actual bedrooms have TVs in now which is good I think. And our main reception room is clear of a great big hunk of a reclining sofa. DD loves that sofa so she's welcome to it 🤣. I can see out the French windows now which is lovely for bird spotting and watching the squirrel wandering around ☺️.
Not sure I have much energy left for making dinner but we had a pretty big leftover lunch of Spanish sauce with veg and tofu and rice so we're ok and will probably have something small. Must make my lunch though as will be really busy at work tomorrow I think.

Thanks beanie we're pretty pleased with the quick turnaround of it 😁. I've just decluttered a desk too, gave it to a polite young lady starting to work from home tomorrow. DS has marked some bits on it (he literally destroyed his bed, his desk and other bits of furniture hence why it all needed to be chucked out) the desk is sturdy though and just needs a bit of tlc so glad that went to a new home.
DP has claimed DS gaming chair. I offered it to DS on a text but he declined it and said he has no space for it. DP said it's better than his as has inbuilt speakers. I think we'll dismantle DP one and store it incase DS wants it back. I've taken DS mattress which was good quality and put It under DD bed like a trundle so that's been kept too. This way if anyone stays we can pull the mattress out each time (has a sheet on to protect from dust). So that's all furniture sorted for now. Still have some shuffling to do downstairs but I can't do anything about that until the laundry and shower room area are complete.
I got my NSD 👏🏻
