thank you. I know I am not thinking straight or in sensible way but it feels just a waste of time. My partner would be ok even with a loan hanging over me - if the worst should happen.

Any idea on when the tests will take place?
I would speak to the Dr and let them know its greatly affecting your mental health and could it be expedited due to the seriousness.
Hope you hear soon.

Well tests have come back ok unbelievably, but it has totally thrown me. I have transferred my debt to a 3 year balance transfer and will pay enough to ensure its paid off by this time but for now I am keeping the repayments to this.
I think I want to do things like enjoy a holiday - not using credit! and enjoy life rather than scrimping.
I think none of us know what is around the corner and I have learnt my lesson surrounding debt and life in general.
I have gone off the rails a little and stopped my side hustle just because I couldn't concentrate on anything. I have started working on that today but only for an hr.
I am down to 6000, I am lucky enough to own my house outright so I figure if my overall debt is 6000 its not too bad in reality.
My brother didn't get a chance at his perfect life - he was due to do the last trip to his new house the day after he passed away.

Its hard when you lose a loved one at a young age before they get chance to really live, but its important to not make any rash decisions now and to find a good life/debt balance.

Well by accident, due to losing my brother I have lost 3 stone in weight and £500 of my debt but at least it is going down.
I was shocked standing on the scales, I haven't bothered after everything that has gone on, it was only when my trousers fell down I figured I would check. I started running just to clear my head in the mornings.
