  • I'm up for a weightloss buddy!

Think it helps to keep us on track.

I'll weigh in the new year then make a start.

  • Brilliant that's great @_Dolly_Rocker_ . I will weigh as well. I think I will probably put a little on over Christmas because I am nibbling every cheese known to man but then I will be able to leave it alone ( when I have made myself feel ill)  :D

  • I am desperately trying to lower my grocery bill. I haven't touched my side hustle money since Christmas so that is adding up slowly. I have  £160 left until the 23rd of Jan, I realise I will be lucky to stick to it but it's fun to try. I have a fair bit in the freezer so shouldn't have to buy anything substantial until the following weekend - fingers crossed.

Tax bill due from side hustle by the end of Jan, I have put that into premium bonds for fun. Not taking it out until after Jan's prizes have been announced. 🤣

Thank you @bigbeff , the weight loss is waiting until I have finished the Christmas cheese & wine!

Thank you @Rhyddid2026, sticking to the same, some weeks my side hustle does extremely well ( I think, lol) and I plough the profits straight to my debts. My main job covers the basics. I am planning on finishing paying off my debts by October, any earlier would be amazing but the nice weather does normal win over summer I struggle to side hustle in the sunshine :) - I have an allotment.

So, I am doing ok at paying down the debt, I am aiming for 1000 a month off, I may be able to be debt free by the end of September, that will be 2 years to the month since my light bulb moment.

It is a slog and feels endless.

Weight loss,  5lbs so far in Jan, started 6th. Not too bad.
