    It is incredible how people can choose to live way beyond their means, even when earning an extremely good salary - and then expecting others to step in to bail them out.It’s a slippery slope to assist them,as they clearly have not grasped that others don’t live like them.As others have said, there will be help available.

    I agree. I imagine there will be a significant death in service amount - depends who he has nominated to receive that. It’s so dreadful to have to think about all this at such an awful time. Thinking of you all and sending love x

    Thank you everybody. I hope he has nominated my sister-in-law if there is death in service.

    It gets worse, he didn't leave a will and I assumed everything would go straight to his wife, but it doesn't. This is yet another nightmare to it all.
