It is incredible how people can choose to live way beyond their means, even when earning an extremely good salary - and then expecting others to step in to bail them out.It’s a slippery slope to assist them,as they clearly have not grasped that others don’t live like them.As others have said, there will be help available.

Thank you everybody. I hope he has nominated my sister-in-law if there is death in service.
It gets worse, he didn't leave a will and I assumed everything would go straight to his wife, but it doesn't. This is yet another nightmare to it all.

I am now having a serious wobble, more like a melt down. I am having to go for tests due to the cause of my brother's death. Now I am thinking why am I bothering to finish paying this off, I may only live a few more years, should I just put the last amount on a loan, it will cost me 100 a month and carry on living rather than budgeting and living on rice and beans, should I just enjoy my life and live it.

I wish there was something I could do or say to help. Unfortunately there isn’t but know that you will be supported here whatever you decide. Personally I’d park any decision until test results are known. Could these be expedited?
