IF I can keep it going I should be clear by the end of September. I will be down to just under £7000 on pay day, Wednesday, that might give me a bit of a boost.

Its the continuing paycheque to paycheque I think, before it was due to the amount of debt and now its due to paying it off. 😣

thank you @RhiBi and @Dakota_Rose . Side hustle is doing ok this week so might be able to get it down a bit more. I slow down so much in the summer - much prefer to be outside than working on the side hustle 😂😒

So I had my MOT & service on the 19th of Feb , i needed a fair bit, new battery & 2 tyres etc, BUT I still haven't had the bill and it is doing my head in. I know I have enough money put back but I feel like I am stuck until I get it paid - its not true at all but still feels like it!

Surely most garages make you pay before you get the car back?

Roll on March pay day, aiming for £6000.

All the ones I have ever used want payment before I take the car away.

If your garage has sourced tyres and a battery, they are probably going to charge a lot for them. I'd be interested to hear how you get on.

They are remarkably fair normally, if they think that you can get something cheaper they tell you to get it. I live in a rural area so I assume that we are still living in the 1950's. Lovely but I really want to know the cost now, lol. Its the same in the local shop, we regularly get power cuts so the receipts are IOU's and you pay when you go back in. 😂. Same with the pub.

I did, so the whole lot was 750, which I didn't think was too bad. 2 tyres, service, mot , battery ( its a hefty battery - he charged the same as I found on the internet and gulped at the price) and a day's labour, needed a few bits to get through the mot, brakes etc.
