Please sign me up for £20k, looking forward to this challenge again.

Big trip coming up in January, but as mentioned in the 2025 thread - need to rethink what I'm reporting to make this a bit more transparent. Hence the higher target then last year.

Done @george4064 - you are #38 this year.

Collectively we are still £20,500 short of half a million for 2026 so far.

    Hi @Suffolk_lass & @enthusiasticsaver

I've managed to confuse things so I'm on the spreadsheet at number 10 for £12000 & (because I didn't spot that earlier) also at number 37 for £8000. Sorry about that!

Please could I stay as number 10 but reduce the target to £8000

Thank you both for running this challenge. <3

Will do. I really must stop doing things in the afternoon. I am a morning person and that is when I should restrict my involvement with spreadsheets! Sorry @time2change_2

I'd like to join please 😁

    My target is £6700

I have a source of income that pays £200 towards it monthly (but that source will stop in September) so that will contribute £1800 to the total and another source that averages £300 per month so will add £3600 to the overall total.

That leaves me with £1300 to find over the year on top of those income sources - a minimum of £108 per month.

This has to be found by savings made on the grocery budget/electricity/bill account/interest payments etc. and living more frugally in 2026

ETA: Forgot to say that I have made my first January payments so am off to a good start! 😁

    Hi

Please would I be able to join you in this, but I think £12k might be a bit much, so could I set my target please at £9k.  I am assuming I will be no 40 on the spreadsheet?  Apologies but I haven't done this before so do I just put a post at the end of the month of how much I have put into savings in that month?
