Thats amazing @weenancyinAmerica. I have done DHs side too and we were surprised to find he comes from a long line of Scots. They were originally from the Champagne regions of France and, over time, came to live in Scotland. His Scottish Ancestors were Lairds too, they even had a couple of castles to their names! He also has a long line of Germans - that was nice to do as the Germans do keep very good records. xSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

@thechubbyunicorn - You're not at all messing anyone up, week 1 indeed done (according to my calendar as well). I'm already in awe that you've managed to walk so far. My hip is still playing up so I need to start building up again to get some distance under my belt. I think at times certain parts of my body think they're 30 years older than my actual age!
@Ms_Potato_Head - Love The Midnight Library, it was one on my list a while back and it really made me think.
@DundeeDoll - Love the street art one! Just goes to show how when we're walking around how easy it is to not notice something. I don't know where you are in the country, but Bristol has some amazing street art tours if you're ever close to there. You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same6 -
I'm up in Dundee @tinkerbelluk but maybe next year I'll do 27 street art walks in different cities!
I love St Martin in the Fields - I used to work in Westminster and remember going there for the Ash Wednesday lunchtime services

2021 I followed Fraser's seasonal cook book and made one soup a week (and my own bread but that was of course a year full of lockdowns and working at home). I do love soup. This year I'm using the New Covent Garden cookbook which mum found in a charity shop for £2.20*25 for 2025: 489 / 5007 -
