Hi all
Not been home long, late finish at the paid stuff but a couple of hours tucked away for another day when I am feeling less motivated. Productive meeting and everyone in good spirits, must be nearly Christmas!
So there won't be much in the way of flying tonight but that's OK I will catch up tomorrow.
Hoping all the coughs and sneezes and achy bits improve for everyone. I have got a HRT review tomorrow which always makes me a bit anxious.
Time to get the Pj's on I think.8 -
Morning all, it's a very wet start to the day here, but at least we can still get out this morning, as we were flooded in yesterday.
My list for today
Make phone calls (dentist, group, doctor)
Festive freezer food shopping
Do paid stuff
Post the empty ink cartridges back
Do uni work
Take the dog for a walk
Put up the rest of the indoor decs
Check banking and dds
Declutter the top of the drawers in the master bedroom
Hoover the living room floor
Take DD to the stables so she can check and feed her pony
Take/collect DS to his school Christmas party
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday.

Morning all.
Just the dailies achieved yesterday as children were here. So far today, I have filed my nails, changed the sofa throws and the originals have just finished in the WM, checked banking and cleared and sent an important admin job. Just noticed something had sold online so will parcel that up next then wash my breakfast dishes.
Wordle in four, two lines on connections, strands with no hints and completed the mini crossword in one minute 23 seconds.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Morning all 👋🏼
Have hoovered through and quick mopped the downstairs before visitors drop in for a quick Helloo.
DW emptied and sides wiped down.
Hubster is off to help his Ma with a few things while I shop for my Ma and collect her medication.
Once shopping is delivered & I’ve fairied for Ma, there’s a Garden centre I’d like to visit (weather depending)
We will tackle the bathroom when home as it’s been s/s but needs a good scrub!@MinnieMousesMummy.. eek, hope that you can venture out today and the flooding has subsided😳🤞🏼 it doesn’t return either!"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇🥇🥇7 -
Morning all,
Up super early to make sure that DD & DH got off to the big town station in time. They just made it, and luckily DD’s train was one of the few not cancelled or delayed. Given that she had a connection to make, that was fortunate. She is now nearly up in northern parts, having left big town at 7.30am. Any flylady vibes for her interview will be appreciated (although I would much prefer that she gets the place in her old uni city which is only an hour away).
Anyhoo, it seems that the early start forced me in a flying direction. 2 lots of bedding changed. 1 washed, the other will wait until tomorrow. One load of clothes washed as well. Hair washed and semi-tamed. Bathroom given a good scrub, instead of the usual That’ll Do. Enthusiasm for doing the same in the ensuite has waned. Houseplants watered and chivvied along. Next job - update the Mr M order and meal plan, probably shouldn’t be in that order. Lots of coming and goings over the next week, so a meal plan may have to be…flexible.
Fingers crossed that the plasterer finishes today, then the decorator can start when it has all dried out. Slowly, slowly the plan comes together.6 -
Downstairs plants watered, cleaned downstairs loo & sink, cleaned patio door, walked Poppet. There's a couple of things off today's list.Spend less now, work less later.5

Afternoon all. One washload done this morning and dried indoors. I've since stripped both beds and remade them and washed one load to dry when the radiators come on later. Tomorrow is supposed to be better so I'm hoping to peg some out. I was woken by the rain at 12.50 this morning and didn't manage to go back to sleep. At about 3 I gave up and got up and dressed and went down to make a cup of tea. Struggling now
Met DD1 for coffee this morning, too wet and windy for a walk although I suppose you could count the walk from the car park to the coffee shop...Was supposed to be going with DD2 to watch my granddaughter sing with the school choir this afternoon but DD2 isn't very well so I'm keeping away. I get to go to the school fair with DGD4 tomorrow after school though.Hope everyone's OK. x7 -
Exhausting day, finishing up the Foodbank paperwork that I haven't been able to get to for a few weeks, followed by a trip to the vet because Wren has a mass (found on Sunday morning), so she's having surgery on Friday (thank goodness for pet insurance, which p3tp1@n has already authorised because my practice is good at stuff like that), followed by a dental appointment for a scrape and polish, followed by shopping for L!d1's cheapo but really wonderful champagne, another L!d1 because they only had one bottle, followed by Morribunds because we needed some things only they stock, followed by a trip to the pharmacy to ask if my statins were ready (they're not, come back Thursday) followed by picking up something from the GP's surgery. It never occurred to me when I got up this morning at 6.15 that it would take all day to do that, and I'm not sure why it does, but it just does, doesn't it.Thank goodness tonight's supper is a homemade lasagne I just happen to have in the freezer, together with some whoopsied veg and salad from the fridge.Better is good enough.7

Hoovered throughout today as well as the joy of cleaning up some cat sick on the hall rug. I attentively followed the cat round with some sheets of newspaper whilst he was working up to being sick. Of course he chose the rug rather than newspaper.
i cleaned the bathroom although i still need to clean the floor.
I sorted out some paperwork and shredded a pile of papers.8 -
I have cleaned the kitchen worktops and floor and cleaned the bathroom. As floors in those rooms are tiled they were steamed. Been to town with my friend for a few bits, all independent shops used and the hospice shop. Someone has donated lots of Aynsley pottery in my pattern (Tudor Rose) and it’s cheap as chips (well cheaper actually) so I bought another piece. So that’s been washed. Our hospice is struggling for funds.
Someone offered me ‘a carrier bag of jam jars’. These were delivered to me tonight and it was actually 2 large bags for life - most of the jars were actually pickle or savoury jars which I don’t use for jam as even after cleaning there’s sometimes an aroma plus they didn’t have self-seal lids. So all bar 21 have gone into my recycling bin. Almost all have now been rinsed and stuck in the DW. About 6 need label surgery.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
