Am 53 and have yo-yo'd with debt since leaving uni 30 years ago

spells of debt free - then a credit card or two - then a reconciliation loan … cycle perpetuates

i also want to be debt free this year

Well done everyone for the great payments in January.

My update is #25 £347.70/£23,253.

I've upped some of the direct debits so it should be more next month.

M&S CC £221.42

Total £3130.25

Have had the M&S card for well over 15 years - amounts fluctuate from 0 to £1,000's. The points reward are not as good now and the M&S offer coupons are not great. Might have to go!

£43.43 off the Capitol one card

£95.96 off the Barclay payment plan - this is my remaining balance after my minimum payment due on Wednesday. So after that the whole lot should be paid off 💪

Thank you so much to everyone who advised me on the surveys, I made £47.02 just this month off the one app (AttaPoll) not bad for minimum effort 😂 all of it went towards the debt free journey
