New Capita-run Civil Service Pension Scheme - problems (what a surprise!)

I dare say the MPs pension scheme hasn’t been entrusted to capita 🙄

Some movement on our pension claims.
My wife received an acknowledgment and a reference number for her application this morning - just a holding email, and one that made it clear they were still struggling with their backlogs, but at least we know the have it and it is in progress. 🙂
In less good news, I submitted my forms at the same time, and I’ve heard nothing 🙁2 -
The MPs’ Pension Scheme is administered by the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA), which is also responsible for administering MPs’ pay and business costs - ie) Self Administered !
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.2 -
IPSA is the MP Pension Scheme Manager. Gallagher administers the scheme itself

New interview with the Capita chief exec on the pensions issue.

all sounds very reasonable - until you look at capita’s record!

As previously posted submitted my application in November 25' & followed up with Capita 8/12 & heard nothing.
However, some progress as I see on the portal that they have now acknowledged receipt of application. At least I am in the queue rather than mislaid so that is a positive.

I have heard from Capita!
I received an email asking me to complete, sign and return a McCloud remedy options form. As I said upthread, I returned all my paperwork to MyCSP in October (including options form) expecting pension to be paid in January 2026. Why are they now asking for another options form?
No indication of when I might receive any money, but least I know someone has looked at my claim 🙄
