I think I’m resigned to this needing following up on day 61. Fortunately I took screenshots of the offer registration process.

Mine was paid soon after the transfer completed, around mid-March.

Hasn't been a smooth process though. But between this cashback and two others and a few complaints compensaitons and the ii refer friend bonus, I will be netting over £5.5k net of extra fees I would pay for moving. Not bad.

I think I will be on the look out for more offers like this and take advantage once lock in periods have completed.

43 business days in, and still nothing for me!

My transfer into Barclays has finally completed. I know the reward can take up to 2 months to be paid out.

However, is my understanding correct that you can transfer out the bulk of your holdings elsewhere whilst waiting for the reward as long as you retain something in the ISA and keep the account open?

Has anyone done this and successfully received the reward?

What a palarver. I'm really glad I'm not usually attracted to these types of bank offer that require the applicant to jump through hoops in order to receive a payment.

I gladly jumped through the tiny hoops and waited patiently for a net £2,440. I waited with my transfer out of Barclays until they had paid out. This was essentially pain free and has just been completed.I expect another 2 grand from the new provider, though they have somewhat tighter T&Cs than Barclays and won't pay up until this time next year, and I have to stay invested with them until then.

Business day 59, and the £2.5k has dropped into my account without chasing.

The poor admin of the transfer in aside (which in a way worked to my favour in reducing the period I had to pay fees), this offer really was money for nothing.

I feel Barclays really should have spent more time getting the website and app up to a par with their competitors before launching this offer. I found the interface worse than both HL and ii, and on my holdings the fees were significantly higher.
