@Cheery_Daff - I misread your post and thought you had festive rose & rhubarb soup in your bathroom sink.  I thought it was a bit odd but decided each to their own at Christmas 😸
Don't want to get soap and soup mixed up in any circumstances! 😂
  • Well the only festive thing I have done today us to try & finish my Christmas puzzle & drink ginger tea. Seem to have gone down with a fluey virus & don't feel like doing anything.

  • I carried on our advent by putting on earrings I'd left on the side as earrings that I like but never wear, and started doing the 'oh but maybe I should-' then said 'nope, enjoy them!' so they were put on and enjoyed

I missed a few days with my advent candles so I'm delighted to still be able to enjoy some festive fragrances during Twixtmas.
teabag of the day was Lady Grey.  Definitely not a favourite but I bravely drank it and counted it as good de-cluttering.  Will remind MrBC not to snaffle anymore from hotel rooms on my account 🙃

Still doing things with turkey here. I am currently reducing some of the stock to improve flavour (and give myself a fighting chance of getting another container in the freezer). One curry, three pies and several cold meals with pickles and most of a breast cut into large portion sized lumps for future use, have all been eaten or stashed. The gammon is in one of the pies and sliced and frozen for a sandwich or three to delight Mr Sl!
    Save £12k in 2025 #2 I saved £14,660.97 of £6000 or 244.35% of my target. The 2026 Save £12k in 2026 thread is here
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026
